"No. I quite enjoyed your playing." Arien tilted Rafael's chin up. He pulled the man closer, looking deep into his eyes.
"But if you don't wish to, I could do it."
"No. I quite enjoyed your playing." Arien tilted Rafael's chin up. He pulled the man closer, looking deep into his eyes.
"But if you don't wish to, I could do it."
He shrugged. “Sorry that the idea of being kept by someone like a bird isn’t super appealing to me. So either option is equally unpleasant for me.”
Arien sighed softly. It seemed it was his decision after all, seeing as this man refused to make a decision. He leaned forward.
"I'm going to make you sing for me," he said softly. It seemed he'd be taking Rafael with him after all.
He shrugged. “Fine then.” He was a little more sure of himself, now that he knew Arien most likely wouldn’t kill him right away for anything that he did.
Arien sighed again, picking Rafael up easily in one arm. He set about gathering up the man's things, holding them as well.
Rafael, haven gotten his point across, decided that that had been quite enough rebellion for the day. He also logically knew that there was no way he’d escape now. So he just let the vampire drag him where he pleased, knowing this might be the last time he’d see the outside for awhile.
Arien, once he was sure he had everything Rafael had brought, started off towards his own home. He didn't bother walking the streets, seeing as he had his own snack now, so he easily leapt up to the rooftops, humming the song Rafael had been playing.
The more that Arien hummed the song, the more Rafael convinced himself that he hated the piece, and would burn the sheet music for it as soon as he could. He watched the city go by in silence.
Arien finally stopped in a suburban area. He walked up to the porch, opening the door. He set Rafael's things down first on a table, closing the door behind him. The house was simple, a bit minimal with a Victorian touch. Arien held Rafael still, not setting the man down yet.
Rafael didn’t voice any complaints. He honestly just wanted to get to sleep, and he knew the only way that’d happen any time soon would be if he kept his mouth shut and did what he was told. He didn’t like it, but that’s just how it was.
Arien continued around the house a bit, holding Rafael close as he just picked up a bit. Eventually, he looked at Rafael.
"Are you tired?" he asked.
He looked up at him before nodding. Rafael decided that for now he didn’t really want to talk to this guy. Maybe it was his small act of sulking? He wasn’t quite sure himself. He was too tired to really know.
Arien nodded in turn. He carried Rafael down a hall, opening a door. It was a simple room, with a bed and desk, a closet door in the corner.
"You'll find clothes in the closet, if you wish to change." Arien set Rafael down on the bed.
He merely nodded again. Normally, he would’ve said thank you, but considering Arien had kidnapped him, he didn’t really feel like thanking him for anything. He knew that might get him in trouble, but at this point he didn’t really care.
(This is adorable)
Arien watched Rafael a moment.
"What is your name?" He finally asked. He took a step back, towards the door. He didn't exactly wanted to refer to this man as 'human,' after all. After this question, he very much intended to leave Rafael alone for the night.
(Yes, kidnapping is adorable XD)
(But is swear Arien is a really soft bean once you get to know him-)
(XD thank you. And Rafael’s just gonna be salty and suspicious of literally everything for awhile but it’ll all work out lol)
Rafael looked up at him, and considered not telling him before quickly deciding it wasn’t worth it. “Rafael.” He replied simply. “And yours?”
"Arien." Arien dipped his head a bit with the introduction, to have some form of decency in the situation.
"It'll be a pleasure to get to know you." He stepped back again, turning to leave.
"Sleep well," He said, opening the door and looking back at Rafael a moment.
Rafael had only responded by nodding in acknowledgement that Arien had spoken. Besides that, he didn’t respond, in fact, he turned away as the other left the room.
Arien sighed gently. He left, closing the door behind him and locking it with a faint click. He didn't very well trust Rafael just yet, and he couldn't have the man running around and telling everyone his secret. He rested his hand on the knob a moment, then turned and left.
(Timeskip?)
(sounds good. Just until morning?)
(Yee please!)
(K!)
Rafael had crashed automatically after Arien had left, and had slept like a rock for the entirety of the night. When he did eventually wake up, at first he had no idea where he was. Then it all came back to him. “Great, so that wasn’t a dream.” He said sarcastically, letting out a long sigh.
