Thankfully, Rafael wasn’t watching, at least at the moment. His eyes were closed as he played, always thinking a few measures ahead so he wouldn’t mess up.
Thankfully, Rafael wasn’t watching, at least at the moment. His eyes were closed as he played, always thinking a few measures ahead so he wouldn’t mess up.
Arien closed his eyes as well. He was obviously enjoying the music, enough to even forget his hunger for a bit. Still… soon it pushed through again, and Arien opened his eyes. They fell on Rafael, and he took a step towards the other subconsciously.
Rafael, still focused on his music, faintly heard the other take a step towards him but he didn’t really think much about it. At the moment, he truly believed Arien didn’t have any sinister intentions. Which, sadly for him, was most likely wrong.
Arien stood right behind Rafael now, letting him play undisturbed a moment longer. His eyes flashed once, and he wrapped his arms around man. His grip was strong, too strong. He held Rafael close to himself, trailing his fangs lightly over the human's skin with a growl.
This had not been how Rafael was expecting his night to go. As soon as he felt the other man’s grip on him, his body responded before his mind even registered what had happened. He’d quickly tried to break free, only to find the other much stronger than he’d expected. At the feeling of teeth, much sharper than anyone’s should be, on his skin, a chill ran down his spine. “W-what the hell?!” He gasped out.
Arien slowly trailed one hand up Rafael's chest, taking ahold of his neck. It was almost gentle, just enough to hold him close.
"I enjoyed your music," he purred softly. His voice was different now, deep and rich and tempting. It was designed to draw people to him.
"Don't be afraid. It'll be over soon."
At the sound of Arien’s voice, his initial overwhelming panic subsided. He felt himself relaxing, even though his mind was still screaming at him to get out of there.
Arien smiled softly when Rafael relaxed. He loosened his hold a bit, almost caressing the man. He turned Rafael's head so they were looking into each other's eyes. He could see the panic in his mind.
"I like you," he finally said, smirking. He finally bit down, his fangs sliding easily into Rafael's throat. He had no intention of killing the man, of course, and being bitten didn't mean being changed. Perhaps he would keep this human around after all.
Rafael let out a soft gasp, flinching as Arien sunk his fangs into his throat. He twitched slightly, his body reactively tensing up a bit again, but that’s all he could really do at the moment.
Arien hummed softly, the song Rafael had been playing earlier. He drank slowly, holding the human close so he couldn't fall down. Eventually, he pulled away, a single drop of Rafael's blood falling down his chin. He hummed softly still, holding Rafael close.
Rafael had honestly gone a bit into shock, not entirely sure of what had just happened to him. Well…he thought he knew but, it wasn’t something he thought would ever happen to him. After all, vampires weren’t supposed to exist, at least to his knowledge. So all his body would allow him to do right now was stay there, trembling softly in this stranger’s grasp. But he was slowly recovering, bit by bit, and would be able to speak again soon.
Arien gently ran his thumb over the bite mark he had made. He continued to hum, turning Rafael so they were chest to chest. He tilted the human's head, up, looking him right in the eyes.
"Don't be afraid," he said again softly.
Rafael finally managed to recover, at least enough to softly stammer out “w-what the fuck-“ He tried to shove Arien away from him but honestly, it was doubtful that the push would make him move whatsoever.
Arien held Rafael close, not letting him pull away.
"Are you afraid?" He asked softly. He reached up with one hand, holding Rafael's cheek.
His mind raced, struggling to answer the question. “M-maybe.” Was the only answer he was apparently able to give. He didn’t make eye contact with the other.
Arien tilted his head a bit at that answer. He moved with Rafael in his arms, pushing him up against a light post.
"Then maybe I'll let you live," he said in turn.
He didn’t dare say anything in response but in his head came the sarcastic response of ‘Wow what a gentleman.’ He knew better than to say that to someone who’d apparently decided to not kill him.
Arien looked over Rafael. He leaned forward, speaking deep and low into his ear again.
"Play for me again," he cooed.
More than anything, Rafael wanted this whole experience to be over. And unfortunately, that meant doing anything this guy wanted until he decided he was done. His one form of rebellion was a small glare that he sent in Arien’s direction before picking up his violin. Thankfully, it hadn’t been damaged in the encounter. Without a word, he began to play again, the same tune, starting where he’d been cut off before.
Arien smiled softly as Rafael played, humming along. He chose to ignore the glare. If he went with the plan he currently had, he'd be able to… punish the human later. He kept his eyes locked on Rafael, not giving him any chance to escape.
After a few more minutes, he’d finished the piece. He looked up at Arien. While he was hoping the vampire would just set him free, he doubted that would actually be what happened.
Arien stepped forward when Rafael fininshed.
"That was beautiful," he purred. "I think it will sound perfect with my piano playing." There was no way he was letting Rafael go.
He sighed softly. “So…you are just going to kidnap me then. That’s great..” He grumbled sarcastically. There was no way he was going without a fight though.
Arien let a slight frown fall on his lips. He reached out, grabbing Rafael's chin.
"Would you rather I drain you here and now? Leaving your body to the beasts, your soul to the ghouls?"
“Wasn’t that your original plan anyway?” He countered. He wasn’t exactly eager to die, but being a prisoner of a vampire for god knows how long didn’t exactly sound appealing either.
