Arien smiled brightly when Rafael pulled him back into his hold, letting out a happy hum as they cuddled, basically.

Rafael smiled, gently ruffling Arien’s hair. Eventually, Rafael leaned over and turned on the TV, just to have some background noise.

Arien blushed a bit when Rafael ruffled his hair. He settled back into the other man, his own hands coming up to rest lightly on Rafael's arms. He smiled softly, eyes closing. He didn't want this to end.

He looked over and smiled at seeing Arien’s eyes closed. He was glad the vampire could relax enough to get some rest.

Arien let out a soft breath, relaxing fully into Rafael's arms. Really, this was just as nice as it had been the day before, allowing him to slip into his sleep-like state.

He gently brushed some hair out of Arien’s eyes before leaning forward, grabbing the remote and flipping through the channels until he found something he liked.

Arien let out a soft hum when Rafael brushed the hair away, a gently smile on his lips. He opened his eyes just slightly when the television was switched, still relaxed.

((Mmmmmmm I’m low key in an angsty mood so what if Rafael went to work and then never made it backkkkk))

Rafael settled back down, absentmindedly watching until he knew he’d have to be leaving for work soon. Now there was just the issue of trying to leave without ‘waking’ Arien.

(OH. Arien would flip the freak out, there would be a literal man hunt to find him.)
(I think if he isn't the reason Rafael doesn't make it back, Elliot should 100% be the one to find him)

Arien had closed his eyes again, content as he laid with Rafael between him and the couch back. Honestly, he was too comfy to wake up on his own to move.

((I don’t really have a preference for who takes him, but I kinda want Rafael to get more than a bit messed up, not killed or anything, but it’s gonna be angsty probably lol))

Gently, Rafael pulled his arms away from around Arien. Seeing that the other didn’t wake up, he stood the rest of the way up, getting off the couch. He went to his room and got changed into his clothes for work. Before leaving the house, he wrote Arien a note, telling him where he’d gone and when he’d be back. He left it on the kitchen counter and quietly left the house.

(Mmm… I have ideas ÒwÓ)

Arien curled up a bit when Rafael left, humming softly. He was still comfortable, Rafael's scent still clinging to him and the couch.

Nothing would interrupt Arien’s rest, the house perfectly peaceful and empty. Arien would probably only wake up once it was completely dark out, hours after Rafael was supposed to have been back.

(Okay, so- Arien has a friend who is a demon. I very much have an idea were they don't realize that Rafael is also friend's with Arien, so… Ye, tries to eat him and what not. Elliot ends up finding them, and is very much considering just letting Rafael die)

Arien eventually opened his eyes when Rafael's scent was too faded. The human should be back by now. Arien stood and stretched.
"Rafael?" he called out. Nothing.
"Rafael..?"

((Ooooh! I like it! I might throw in some specific injuries for Rafael because they’ll cause him issues for awhile.))

He’d gone all his life without being kidnapped by anyone. And now he’d been kidnapped by two- not even people, but two supernatural beings in the past week. Rafael must’ve just gotten some awful karma this week or something. What he did know is- well really nothing, he had no idea where he was.

Rafael was in a small, claustrophobic room, almost pitch black. He'd been knocked out soon after the demon had found him, tall and muscled, a walking wall. A trap door above Rafael's head opened, the demon's large hand reaching down to grab Rafael by the back of his shirt.

((high key want to temporarily blind Rafael but for description convenience do we want to wait until someone’s almost there to come help?))

Rafael cursed quickly, trying to twist out of the demon’s grasp but probably to no real success. He was beginning to remember the details of how he’d gotten here now, and none of them looked promising for his survival.

(Oooo, yes that would be a lot of fun!)

The demon held tighter to Rafael when he tried to twist away, lifting him up and out. The 'room' he had been in was actually a wooden box. Rafael was set on a hook on the wall, several feet above the ground. The demon looked Rafael up and down, thinking.

Rafael crossed his arms, trying to look intimidating, but most likely failed. It’s hard to look intimidating to someone who literally just picked you up. He didn’t know what this guy wanted from him, and decided it better not to ask.

The demon chuckled softly at Rafael's feeble attempts to be intimidating.
"Are you scared, mortal?" The demon asked, voice deep and rashy, like it was clawing it's way out of the demon's throat.

“Dude this is the second time this has happened to me this week, I just want to go home.” I mean this was also the third time a supernatural being had threatened him this week. He was kind of over it at this point.

The demon tilted his head a bit, slightly confused by this response.
"Strange indeed…"

(Any other injuries you'd like to have happen? Or any you'd like to avoid?)

At this point Rafael shut up, not wanting to give this guy any more information. He didn’t want to accidentally put Arien at risk.

((Okie, this will be interesting then!)

The demon examined Rafael a moment. He shrugged after a moment, he picked Rafael up again, moving to the counter of the kitchen. That couldn't be good.

A chill went down his spine. He knew nothing even remotely good was going to happen to him here. A horrible thought popped into his head, ‘what if I die here?’ The thought made him upset to say the least. He’d never be able to see Arien again. Rafael would never be able to tell him how important he was to him.
