“Pretty well. Sorry that I had to just go sleep so suddenly.” He said, once again looking over at Arien, trying to gauge his reaction.

Arien shrugged a bit, blushing at the memory of the game.
"I understand. You're used to sleeping at night, after all."

He gazed at Arien a second longer before looking away, merely nodding in acknowledgement. “I think I’m gonna go eat, I’m starting to actually get hungry now.”

"Okay then. Here, I'll go get it out of the oven." Arien stood before Rafael had the chance to, smiling softly to himself.

“Thank you!” He called after him, staring after the other before quickly shaking his head, returning his gaze to his feet.

Arien hummed a reply, pulling the hot cakes out of the oven. He smiled, bringing the tall plates out for them to enjoy together.

“Looks delicious as always.” He said, smiling at the other as he accepted his plate. He began to eat, still smiling contently.

Arien grinned.
"Good! I've always enjoyed cooking," Arien said. "I'm glad there's finally someone I can share this with."

He smiled. “And I’m happy that I’m the one who gets to benefit from your cooking.” He. Chuckled softly.

"I am too." Arien nodded, smiling at Rafael as he started eating. He giggled a bit, shaking his head.

Rafael began to eat, occasionally smiling over at the other. He liked this, just being able to relax near Arien.

Arien smiled as he ate, obviously enjoying it. He grinned a bit, looking up at Rafael occasionally.
"Is it good?"

“Yep!” He smiled, resting his head on Arien’s shoulder again. He finished his plate but didn’t move away from Arien.

Arien's grin grew, and he he finished his own food. He set the plate to the side, wrapping one arm around Rafael. He yawned a bit.
"Are you going to go to work today?' He asked after a moment.

He nodded. “Sadly yeah. But not for a few more hours, so we can still hang out until then.” He smiled, nuzzling into Arien’s side.

Arien nodded, smiling.
"That's good, at least…" He wrapped both arms around Rafael lightly, resting his head on the human. He loved being able to be like this. It was nice… Not as nice as sleeping in Rafael's arms, but it was close to it.

“Want to just…hang out and watch tv until then?” He asked nervously, not wanting to be far away from Arien.

Arien smiled softly.
"Of course," he said. He stood, pulling Rafael over with him towards the couch. He kept his arms around the other, not letting go.

Rafael smiled widely, laying down on the couch next to Arien, wrapping his arms around the other. He let out a content sigh.

Arien relaxed immensly into Rafael's hold, smiling softly.
"This is nice," he said softly.

Rafael nodded, not even bothering to turn on the TV, just relaxing. He rested his chin on top of Arien’s head, practically spooning him at this point.

Arien smiled, leaning back into Rafael. Really, this was so nice. He enjoyed being held like this, to have someone with him when he usually felt so alone.

“This isn’t…weird or anything right?” He asked after a few moments of silence. He pulled away a bit as he asked.

Arien shook his head quickly.
"No, not at all." He didn't want to stop, not at all- but he didn't force himself against Rafael when he pulled away.

“Okay..good…” he moved closer to Arien again, wrapping his arms around him. He hummed softly, smiling.
