"Ah… yeah, I'm really not," Arien admitted. He was honestly a bit surprised by Rafael's reaction. "You can stay as long as you want to," Arien offered. "And I completely understand, of course!" Arien offered a small smile.
“Hm..I’m glad.” He smiled. “I’m gonna have to make a trip to my apartment at some point though to get some of my things.” He commented, kind of just rambling to himself.
"Well, if it's not too much we could go after this." Still Arien would understand if Rafael would want to go alone.
“Sure. If you don’t mind coming along that’d work well.” It seemed like the slow song was going to end soon.
"Okay!" Arien wished the song would go longer, but it stopped eventually. He gently let go of Rafael, his hand slipping back into the human's.
"I could get a car from one of my friends if you think we would need it."
“No I think we’ll be okay with just going on foot.” Rafael was reluctant to let go of him but did it anyway. He wasn’t sure exactly what he even wanted out of this whole…thing..with Arien.
Arien stayed by Rafael's side, smiling still.
"Alright then." He was enjoying himself, and it was his turn to lightly rest his head on Rafael's shoulder.
“Do you want to go now or stay here a bit longer? I don’t really mind either way.” He smiled softly when he felt Arien’s head on his shoulder.
Arien thought to himself.
"We can go now, if that's okay with you. It is getting later in the evening." Arien left his head on Rafael's shoulder a moment, then pulled it away as they came back around to the exit area.
“Okay so I guess we should just return the skates and then we can go.” He felt a pang of sadness when Arien pulled away. He just wanted to be close to him. ‘Dammit what is wrong with me?’ He thought to himself.
"Alright then!" Arien led them back to the rental counter, sitting down to pull his skates off. He was still smiling slightly, looking at Rafael with a sweet little smile now.
Rafael chuckled softly at seeing Arien’s smile. He sat down next to him, gently flicking him in the arm. “You look like a dork.” He teased, beginning to pull off his own skates.
"Mm, well maybe I am!" Arien laughed lightly, returning his skates and getting his shoes on.
"Is that so bad?"
“Nope. Just reminding you.” He chuckled, standing up and doing the same thing. “So, you ready to go?”
"Yeup!" Arien took Rafael's hand, taking the fake fangs out of his mouth as they left.
Rafael did the same with his own plastic fangs. “Okay well just follow me. It shouldn’t take us super long to get there.” He gently squeezed Arien’s hand.
Arien squeezed back, grinning.
"Alright then, lead the way!" He hummed a bit, looking around.
Rafael started walking, taking them pretty much in the opposite direction from where they’d come from. He stayed quiet for now, kind of just enjoying the peace. He’d continue like this for at least the next five minutes.
Arien had eventually rested his head on Rafael's shoulder again, smiling softly.
Rafael smiled softly at the motion. Which of course got him thinking again. What exactly were the two of them? Was it just harmless meaningless flirting? He wasn’t sure. He tried not to think about it. It’d be better if he didn’t acknowledge any feelings he may have until Arien let on if he might actually want something more.
Arien continued to keep close to Rafael, grinning to himself.
"Which house is your's?" he asked, looking up at Rafael.
“We’re almost there.” He replied, Arien startling him out of his thoughts. “Maybe 5 more minutes or so?” He estimated.
"Okay!" Arien grinned, humming as he held Rafael's hand. He looked around, still smiling.
“Turn here.” He said suddenly, pulling them around a corner and onto a street lined mostly with apartments or shops. After another second he stopped in front of one of the apartment buildings, heading inside.
Arien turned when instructed, looking around. He smiled, going into the apartment building with Rafael. He took his head off of Rafael's shoulder, looking around.
