Dmitri hummed faintly. "Precisely." He replied, giving her a, well, wolfish smile.
Dmitri hummed faintly. "Precisely." He replied, giving her a, well, wolfish smile.
Elissa rolled her eyes. “Doesn’t mean that I don’t hate everything you do.”
He shrugged a little. "Mm. My apologies, but I cannot change myself for you."
“I’m one person,” Elissa responded. “Gotta listen to the people telling you to murder and kidnap people because where would society be without that?” Wow, she was getting tired. When Elissa was lacking sleep, she got more argumentative and less rational with every hour.
Dmitri raised an eyebrow. "The sarcasm is not appreciated." He responded, cocking his head at her.
“And I don’t appreciate your associates murdering my grandma,” Elissa shot back. She yawned, her eyelids feeling droopy.
Dmitri shrugged faintly. "Nothing I can say will change your mind." He replied.
“That is correct.” Elissa yawned again.
Dmitri nodded. "I'll leave, since you seem to be tired." He replied.
“Okay, thanks, I guess,” Elissa said, definitely feeling tired now.
Dmitri nodded. "Mhm." He slipped out of the room.
Elissa waved a half-hearted goodbye, but her eyelids were already getting droopy. She was the type who fell asleep fairly quickly, so she sighed and went to lay down.
(timeskip?)
(sure)
(alright. To when?)
(how about the next day? maybe another prisoner and Elissa help each other escape while Dmitri is doing some gang stuff and then Elissa basically makes it her mission to try and stop the gang bc she's an idiot and she and Dmitri meet again later?)
(hhhh that would be pretty cool! Let's do it!)
(okie doke!)
The next day, Elissa woke feeling groggy. This place was most exactly comfortable, and despite Dmitri’s sudden willingness to speak with her, she still didn’t like him. She had to get out of here, out of this den of murderers. Today was the day she would break out.
Fox was gone, and a new prisoner had taken his place. This prisoner looked like they didn't belong here, not anywhere near this gang.
Elissa looked up from her search for something to unlock the door to see the newcomer. She raised her eyebrows. Where had Fox gone?
“Who are you?” she asked, peering at them for a moment.
The person blinked at them for a moment. "Ah– Reagan." they said. They had short, spiky blue hair, and wore a pair of thin glasses.
“I’m Elissa,” she replied, still studying the newcomer. “Why are you here, if I may ask?”
Reagan shrugged, adjusting their glasses. "My father, I believe."
“And what did he do?” she asked, getting curious.
"Ah– no, I'm here because my father has the money to pay ransom." they responded, blinking at her.
