So I love fairytales as you may or may not know, and in my boredom I came up with this idea. So here’s my idea so far:
In Nova City, things are getting more and more dangerous, but when Elissa’s grandmother calls her desperately in the middle of the night for help, what is she supposed to do? She sneaks out of the house, only to run into a criminal known only as the Wolf.
lol that’s really all i’ve got so far, but i’m thinking that this could possibly be romance?
i’m going to be Elissa (aka little red) and you will be the Wolf. any gender is totally fine. i’ll put up a form and stuff when someone joins. this will probably be rated around PG-15.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Question: Exactly how futuristic is this? Like is this way in the future with like…cybernetics and laser guns and super high tech, or what?

@MusicElle-is-here

yeah, i was thinking the actual year was like 2080 or something, and there are laser guns and stuff. as for cybernetics, they exist but they’re a bit expensive and not very common. people can live to a really old age because of advanced medical care, and the rich can afford all sorts of body modifications. that kind of thing.

Name: Elissa Scarlett
Age: 19
Gender and sexuality: female, pan
Appearance: Elissa has long, curly brown hair so dark that it is usually mistaken for black, with a few strands framing her heart-shaped face. She has olive skin and pale green-gray eyes, which are framed by long lashes. She has a slightly upturned nose and a slightly uneven smile. Her lips are always red, her signature color, and she is known for wearing her brilliantly red jacket. Elissa always wears brown combat boots that are great for fighting or running or whatever. She is just over average height for a girl, standing at 5' 6". She has a slender frame, which can make her look deceptively weak sometimes. Elissa looks quite innocent, actually.
Personality: Elissa can be soft-spoken and quiet at first, not because she is shy, but because she doesn't trust anyone. She is whip-smart and extremely sarcastic. She is observant and quick, but can also act a bit dumb sometimes. She seems quite naive, and sometimes is, but she's a fast learner. Elissa is also quite curious.
Skills: Self-defense (her grandma was really into self defense stuff), sarcasm, book smart (but not really street smart), fast runner, fast learner.
Backstory: Elissa has always been more close with her grandmother than her father. Her mother disappeared when she was younger, so she was mainly raised by her father and grandmother.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Hey, so what age range are you thinking? Like what's the maximum age that you'd be okay with? (I'm assuming this'll eventually be a romance between the Wolf and Elissa?)

@ElderGod-Icefire

Name: Dmitri "The Wolf" Ulyanov
Age: 20
Gender and sexuality: Male, bi
Appearance: Dmitri is tall, at nearly 6'4", with broad shoulders and a toned, well-muscled body. He has a black tattoo snaking from his shoulders down to his hips, curling across his back in intricate, detailed coils and curves. It covers up scars that were put there by his father. He has pale blonde hair, which he's dyed streaks of black into. His eyes are a pale, icy blue. He's white, and actually pretty pale, without much of a tan. His canines have been artificially enlargened and sharpened to resemble a wolf's canines, with his lower jaw slightly altered so that he doesn't cut his gums open. His left hand is cybernetic, and he keeps that covered with a black glove.
Personality: Very territorial and "in charge". Likes to be in control of the situation. Hates to be reminded of his father. Can be a bit of a bully. Very intelligent.
Skills: Leading. Threatening/coaxing people into compliance. Planning ahead.
Backstory: TBD for the most part. His father was abusive and led the Pack (their gang) before Dmitri. Dmitri ended up killing his father in a ritual fight to determine the leader of the Pack.

Nova City at night was dangerous. That was something that Elissa’s family had told her for her entire life. She stared out into the night, her phone laying still and silent after the strange call that she had received from her grandmother. She couldn’t ignore the desperation in the old woman’s voice.

After staring out into the darkness for several moments, Elissa made up her mind. Granny had always been there for her, and Elissa couldn’t let her down in her hour of need. She got out her backpack and stuffed some essentials into it, heading into the front room to disable the security system. Her father happened to be a deep sleeper and Elissa fairly adept at technology, so it should be simple. Hopefully.

Finally, she was ready to head out. She took a deep breath, preparing herself, then leaving the house. Elissa tucked her long hair into her hoodie, glancing left and right like she was merely crossing the street instead of hurrying outside to visit her grandmother. She should have told her father about the phone call, but something told her that her practical dad wouldn’t do anything about it, claiming that Granny was having one of her delusions. Elissa was certain that this was real, and didn’t want to risk anything. It wasn’t far to her grandmother’s apartment, and there was plenty of public transportation.

As she left her own apartment building, a shiver went down Elissa’s spine at the chilly night air. She bit her lip, the task suddenly seeming much more daunting now that she was outside. She shook off her hesitation. Every second that she wasted was another second that her Granny could be dying, or kidnapped, or whatever had caused the fear in her voice. All she knew was that her grandmother had mentioned something about a pack, but a pack of what? She took off down the street, suspicious of every passerby, though the number of people was much more meager and dark than the daylight crowd. She had to get to her grandmother, and soon.

(i was thinking that when she was younger she was in another gang or something that was against them and a long time ago she killed one of the pack members but now they found her after she escaped and are hunting her down, probably gonna kill her)

@ElderGod-Icefire

(alright, makes sense)

Dmitri lit a cigarette, lifting it to his lips as he led the search through the city streets. Crow, Jackal, and Fox were all on the job with him. Some of his most trusted lieutenants, they were. Though it couldn't be said that the Wolf really trusted anyone, in reality. He had learned that lesson from his father. That even those closest to you should never, ever be trusted, else they will turn on your weakness and tear you to shreds.

"Sir, the old woman has left the house. Should I pursue?" That was Jackal, his voice low over the coms.

He lifted a finger to the earpiece, pressing down the button to reply. "Pursue. Stay at a distance, let me take the lead on this one." he replied in a voice that was almost a growl. He had a dark jacket on, the hood pulled up over his face. He dropped the cigarette, crushing it out with his boot, and loped off in the direction Jackal had been posted at, moving at a fast clip in order to catch up.

Elissa walked briskly down the street, and after a bit of internal debate decided to take the subway, because it would be faster than walking on foot. Hopefully it would be safer as well. She went down the stairs into the cool underground, waiting for the train for only a minute or two, though in her current state it seemed like forever. Luckily, her grandmother’s apartment was only one stop away.

She got off the subway without even a strange glance in her direction, but that did nearly nothing to calm her anxiety. She hurried above the ground, walking down the next couple of blocks to her grandmother’s apartment with long strides. She was almost there. Determination lit up her features as she increased her pace, finally on the right street. Anxiety ate up her stomach, causing her to narrow her focus to her grandmother’s wellbeing and not her surroundings. Elissa was forgetting everything that her Granny had taught her.

@ElderGod-Icefire

The Wolf had nearly caught up to Jackal when Crow radioed in. She was his eyes in the sky, and the most unruly of the bunch. She and Fox were trouble.

"Sir, the woman's granddaughter." Crow's voice purred. "She's here. Shall I take her out?"

He growled under his breath, slowing down. "No, I've got it." he replied. "Keep tracking the old woman." he looked around the street, and headed towards where the granddaughter must be.

@MusicElle-is-here

With every step, Elissa’s anxiety increased. She was almost there! She was already making a plan in her head, her mind whirring with all of the ideas that she had. She took a knife out of her boot and clutched it, white knuckled, in her hand. She was so close now, only a another building or two before her grandmother’s apartment.

Whatever her grandmother was facing, Elissa would help her out. Her grandmother was a total badass, and she had taught Elissa most of what she knew, or at least that’s what Elissa thought. She had to know what was wrong.

@ElderGod-Icefire

The Wolf was waiting outside of her grandmother's apartment. He knew that Jackal and Crow could take care of the old woman. He knew that Fox was somewhere nearby, a spotter in case of any more trouble. Like the cops. None of the Pack wanted to deal with the cops. He was wearing that glove over his left hand, frowning a little bit as he waited for that girl, whoever she was. The lady's granddaughter. Hopefully he could get her to go home without too much trouble.
