Anton nodded. "My father insisted that both Drew and I get degrees in something, which is the only reason I am even doing this." he replied with a slight shrug.

"Mm… makes sense. I spend a lot of time being told to reread textbooks that I've read a thousand times. I just don't understand the point of it anymore."

He nodded again. "Yes, I can understand that." he rubbed his face. "My teacher is a pain in the ass. Like it doesn't matter what my grades are, I just need the degree, and he keeps riding my ass about the homework. I'm not going to do it, it's not like I give a shit about the degree."

Lloyd nodded as well. "There are far more important things for me to do than study all day. Battle training, for example. Sure, I'm already very experienced, but it doesn't hurt to keep in practice."

He looked at Lloyd. "Yes. I've never been very…I am not good at fighting, I'm afraid, but I do have things I would rather be doing." he agreed.

"Mm. I could teach you sometime, if you'd like. Just simple sparring to start out with, of course. Nothing too intense. It would give us both an excuse to not read textbooks for once."

He let out a soft laugh. "I think that you would beat me into the ground, is what would happen. I can handle myself in a smaller fight, but not against anyone with any real training." Anton was by no means unhealthy, he was trim and fit, he was just not a fighter.

"Well, I wouldn't hurt you or anything." Lloyd laughed. "I would simply be teaching you how to fight."

Anton laughed a little bit, shaking his head. "Still not sure it's a wise idea." He replied, looking at Lloyd.

Lloyd shrugged again. "If you say so, Anton. It's up to you, honestly." He glanced around a bit, trying to find something else to talk about.

Anton nodded a little bit. "I mean, it might be a good idea, I don't know." he shrugged his shoulders, drumming his fingers for a moment.

"Mhmm. Well, you can let me know if you're ever interested. I'm sure I can make some time. Did they tell you when the wedding is?" He asked. "Because they haven't told me."

Anton blinked. "Oh. Yeah. I don't know. I think…not for another month or two?" he shrugged his shoulders, looking over at Lloyd and shaking his head.

Lloyd nodded with a soft hum. "I can try to get more information out of my father, but I don't know how much he'll tell me… is there anything else you'd like to talk about?"

Anton nodded. "That would be great. And…I don't believe so. Unless you have anything?" he asked, looking over at Lloyd.

Lloyd considered for a few seconds before shaking his head. "Not that I can think of. It was nice talking to you, Anton." He said, smiling softly.

"Yes." Anton agreed, standing. "I would…like to get to know you before we are married." he smiled a little bit, letting out a quiet laugh.

"I feel the same. I shall take my leave now, but call upon me if you ever want to talk." Lloyd waved and left the room.

Anton nodded, and picked up his book again as Lloyd left, going to read.

Lloyd sighed once he was in the hall, considering what to do for a few seconds before heading back outside to train. He grabbed a sword on the way and pushed open the palace doors.

Ellis had eventually gone back outside, and was taking care of Pixie again, leading her along some of the trails in order to exercise her.

Lloyd was in an outdoor training area near the stables by now. There were practice dummies both on the ground and in the air, along with general targets. Lloyd was flying and slashing at one of the dummies with his sword.

Ellis spotted Lloyd, and stopped to watch him for a moment, biting his lip a little bit.

After a few seconds, Lloyd cleanly sliced the head off of the dummy. It fell to the ground and spilled a bit of the stuffing it held inside. Lloyd, after examining his handwork, gracefully landed and picked up the fake head.

Ellis took a deep breath, and started to walk again, still leading Pixie.
