Simon blushed pleasantly, his smile widening. “That’s very nice of you.” He commented, not really knowing what else to say.

Astral hummed some, hugging Simon again.
"Ah, is that so?" The god chuckled softly.
((I just want them to be happy but also angsttttttt))
“Mhm!” He replied, snuggling back into Astral’s chest, blushing deeply. “W-what time is it?” He asked, quickly changing the subject.

Astral looked up, his arms going securely around Simon as the human snuggled close.
"It's around four," the god informed.
“Only four, really?” He sighed softly. “What should we do?” He asked.
'Mm…" Astral thought a moment, his fingers going up to twirl Simon's hair between them as he pondered.
"Well, I'm not sure. Is there anything you'd like to do?"
“Mmmmmm not today really. But is it okay if we go down to earth tomorrow, please?” He asked hopefully. If the god said no, he’d just keep asking.
"Sure thing!" Astral offered a small smile. "Where do you want to go..?"
“Umm well somewhere different than where we normally go.” He said, quickly trying to think of an excuse as to why he wanted to go down. “It’s not really any place special, I can tell you where it is when we’re ready to go.”
Astral tilted his head some, a bit confused. Still, he didn't push.
"Alright, then, if it's simple like that." Astral ran his fingers through Simon's hair. Just what was he planning?
He let out a small sigh of relief, nodding. He didn’t even plan on telling Astral that he wanted to go by himself until they were actually on earth. “Thank you..”
"You're welcome." Astral could tell this might not be a completely happy thing, but he still wanted to help Simon fell good for now.
Simon pulled the blankets up more around them, getting comfortable again. He didn’t know what he’d do in this situation if Astral wouldn’t let him go. Simon went to that grave every year, no matter the circumstances. That’s why he’d ran away from Nathan the first time, for his yearly visit. It was the one constant he had in his life.
Astral smiled some, holding Simon close. He had no intention to stop Simon from doing whatever he wanted on Earth, so long as he was okay. Astral ran his fingers through Simon's hair again, humming.
Simon felt his body relaxing again, he practically hummed with contentment, leaning into Astral’s gentle touches.
Astral enjoyed being able to get Simon to relax so easily, and he never wanted it to end. He wanted to be this close with Simon for forever- maybe even closer.
Simon began to hum a soft tune, subconsciously starting to flesh out a vision of his future, where he was able to be happy and be himself, a future that for once didn’t seem so unrealistic. And it was all thanks to Astral. He looked up at the other man. “I guess we should probably get up and make something to eat sometime soon, hm?
Astral closed his eyes as Simon hummed, relaxing with the man in his arms.
"Yes, I do suppose we need to." Astral chuckled softly, opening one eye. He sat up, pulling Simon onto his lap.
Simon blushed softly, averting his eyes just a bit out of embarrassment, biting his lip softly. Astral was just so…so handsome, and kind and…Simon was very stupidly in love with him.

Astral tilted his head some at Simon's reaction, moving forward to hug the man.
"Mm…"
Simon hugged Astral, smiling to himself. He knew he’d warned himself against getting too close to Astral. But the god made it so difficult. He’d done so many nice things for Simon, and had never asked for anything back. He’d never made Simon uncomfortable either. That combo was very rare in Simon’s life.

Astral hummed some, still hugging Simon close as he picked the man up, moving to scoot off the bed and carry him to the kitchen. He'd enjoy every single moment of this he had with Simon, for as long as he could.

Simon got settled into Astral’s arms, a content smile on his face as they moved into the kitchen. He looked up at the other man, examining his features while the other wasn’t looking.
