Astral nodded, resting his head on Simon a moment.
"Me too…"

Simon fell silent, just letting Astral hold him. After a minute or two he yawned quietly, letting his eyes slide shut.

(Ooh boi, it's gonna be a lot… like, think how Astral used to be but with zero ability to make her feel for Simon…)
(Yeah that'd make sense XD)

Astral looked down at Simon when he yawned, smiling softly and holding back the sadness. He didn't say a word, standing with Simon in his arms as he headed towards the bedroom.

((F Simon’s gonna die))

Simon wasn’t really sure if he even wanted to go to sleep. Astral was just so warm and comfy…it put him at ease in such a way where he couldn’t help but begin to feel tired. He still clung tightly onto the god, not wanting to be separated from his source of warmth.

(I mean,,, yeah, lol)

Astral wasn't going to let go of Simon, not while he was like that. So, the god laid down with Simon still in his arms, snuggling close.

Simon snuggled into Astral’s arms. “I don’t wanna go to bed…” he protested softly, even as he yawned again. He was having such a good time with Astral and he didn’t want it to end.

'I'll be right here with you when you wake up," Astral promised. God, Simon was reminding Astral of a kid again, and it made what he had done seem so much worse…

“You promise? You won’t leave me behind?” He asked, which seemed an odd way of phrasing it but the guy was tired, he was kind of out of it, so maybe it was nothing. But still…the way he looked at Astral, he looked so vulnerable, and trusting.

"I won't, I promise." Astral smiled some in assurance, screaming on the inside. Don't trust me, Simon, please! Still, nothing looked wrong.

He nodded, not looking entirely like he believed him but resting his head on the other man’s chest nonetheless. “I don’t like that I’m getting tired so much now….you’ve softened me up I guess. Forced me to actually take care of myself.” He teased, chuckling softly.

"Yeah, I guess so. But it's a good thing to take care of yourself, you know. There's only so much I can do for you." Astral cupped Simon's head, sighing some with a soft chuckle.

“I know I just…never did it a lot. Never had the opportunity, never had the motivation. So yeah…it’s good that I can now though…” he smiled faintly, his eyes drooping a bit.

"It is," Astral agreed. The god pulled the blankets up around them, smiling sweetly.
"Here, we can take the nap together…"

“Thanks…..” he mumbled, pressing his face into Astral’s chest, taking a slow deep breath, breathing in Astral’s scent. It was a very comforting smell for him now, as he associated it with so many good things.

Astral ran his fingers through Simon's hair again, settling down for the time. Astral's breathing slowed, and he started to fall asleep with Simon in his arms.

Simon stayed curled up in Astral’s arms for the next few hours, his dreams for once peaceful and happy. When he finally did wake up, his eyes squinting as he opened them, he was relieved to see the other man was still there. He kept his promise. It made Simon very very happy.

Astral slowly opened his own eyes when he felt Simon move some, looking down.
"Hey…" The god smiled sleepily, eyes half closing again.

“Hey there sleepyhead.” Simon said softly, smiling at the god’s expression. “Sorry that I woke you.” It was moments like this where he just wanted to show Astral so much affection. But he always restrained himself…barely, reminding himself that such things were unrealistic.

"Mm, it's fine," Astral said, chuckling sleepily. "I'd much rather be awake and spending time with you than asleep." The god smiled some, raising his hand to run through Simon's hair.
