"You can," Astral said softly. He hugged Simon again. "I'll be out in a moment, I just have to clean up in here a bit." Astral pulled away, going to take down the set up he'd had for the man. He glanced at the trinket, smirking just a bit. He waited for Simon to leave, though, not wanting to break his promise in front of the man.
“Oh um Astral?” He said, stopping right before he left the room. “Can I have my phone back?” He asked softly. So he had connected those dots, which honestly wasn’t that surprising.
Ah- yes, sorry about that." Astral pulled Simon's phone out of his pocket, offering it to the man. He'd meant to put it back, anyway, and he saw nothing wrong with the man noticing this.
“It’s okay.” He said quietly, taking it from the other. It wasn’t really that significant that he’d figured it out. It just showed that he actually did pay attention sometimes.
Astral would need to be more careful when he actually meant to deceive Rafael, but for now it was no big deal.
"I'll be out in a minute," Astral said one more time. He turned back to his work, tidying up.
(Also yes I can confirm 100% now that Astral will use someone else against Rafael if he ever went apathetic to get him to respond by threatening to hurt the person who might be a child)
Simon headed out of the work room, quietly heading back to Astral’s bedroom, his head swimming with thoughts. But the biggest one that Simon couldn’t figure out is why Astral would do that for him? Go hunt down someone who’d hurt him when Simon hadn’t even asked him to. It didn’t make sense. It made Simon’s head hurt thinking about all the possibilities.
(You really don't want to know how Astral gets his hands on a child, Simon will hate it so much and I don't want to do this to him—)
Astral closed the door behind Simon, letting out a soft breath. He turned, looking at the trinket on his work table. Thank goodness for sound proofing. He walked over, picking it up and releasing the man's voice so he could speak.
"You should have never hurt my toy," he growled softly.
((bruh I’m not sure if i wanna know either))
“He doesn’t belong to you, he’s mine.” The other growled back, apparently still too stupid to learn when to just be quiet.
((damn but if Simon finds out what happens to Nathan, he may not be able to help it and just shut down f u c k))
(it's bad, real bad)
Spoiler - click to show.
Why do you think Astral didn't do bottom surgery when he could have easily just waved a hand and Simon be completely male..?
"No," Astral said. "You're both mine." Fun fact- when Astral does something to damage one of his trinkets, they can feel it completely. So, it wouldn't come as a surprise when Astral pulled out a scapel and started to dig at the man a bit. He'd left him in a more… unmade shape, just a block, and Astral was going to make a statue using the man's entire body like a piece of wood.
(So we just gotta keep this on the shush shush don't fucking tell him)
((I figured gawd dammiiiiiiiiiiiiit))
The man of course, very quickly began to scream. For as much pain as he handed out to other people, he couldn’t tolerate it himself.
(I hate him so muchhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh)
"Wimp," Astral said softly under his breath. He sat down, whittling away. Still, he was grinning as the man screamed, his cuts small and shallow so he would have to make more. Soon he had the man down to a human-esque form, starting on much smaller details.
((Okay but I don’t even know if Simon would care. It depends))
Simon started wondering what was taking Astral so long but decided it was better not to think about it. He sat down on the bed, still feeling a bit disturbed by the whole situation.
(Would he if Astral used illusions and fucking with Simon's mind to think he had a pp, convinces him it was a dream he got r-ped, and then nine months later he gives birth?)
What happened? The trinket on the bedside table asked, concerned for Simon.
What did he do? Did he ask you to do anything?
Astral finally finished, blowing the chips off of the man. He set the trinket down, sweeping up all the shavings and throwing them away. He left the room, closing the door behind him.
((ooooh that might work actually hhhhh simoooooon))
“So long story short, he kidnapped the guy I was staying with, aka my now ex boyfriend. Astral turned him into a trinket like you but he said he wouldn’t do anything to him, just put him somewhere so he couldn’t hurt people anymore.” Simon explained quietly.
(Yeay but also nuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu he be so confused when it happens)
The trinket was quiet a moment.
O-Oh… They didn't believe Astral would do nothing, but they kept that to themselves.
Where did he put the man- ah, trinket?
((simon will literally c r y…for like hours))
“In his work room so I wouldn’t have to look at him. I’m not sure if I really believe Astral won’t hurt him but I appreciate that he’s trying to protect me.”
(SO WILL I)
Ah… That is nice, isn't it. It was just hard to believe Astral would be doing any of this.
Unfortunately… Astral had been standing at the door. That was why Simon liked the trinket so much, he thought to himself. He found it… interesting.
((ayyyy same))
“Mhm.” Simon said, picking up the trinket.
((low key saw that one coming noooooo))
After a moment, Astral knocked on the door. The trinket was startled, for sure- they hadn't heard Astral's footsteps like normal. They started to tremble just a bit, keeping silent.
"May I come in?" Astral asked.
(Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh it's not gonna be good ;_;)
((oh hecc we might be crying now then))
Simon was equally as surprised, but luckily managed to keep his hold on the trinket. “Yeah you can come in.” He said, managing to keep his voice calm. He hadn’t done anything wrong…right?
Astral opened the door, smiling softly. It was't Simon who had done anything wrong, not at all. The god moved to sit down on the side of the bed, still smiling a bit.
"How are you doing?" he asked. He moved one hand over under the guise of resting it on Simon's, but it was actually to touch the trinket there. If they could have, the trinket would have shrunk away from Arien's touch. They would have gasped if they had the time, but already Arien had sealed their mind, leaving them in complete and total isolation, even if they still rested in Simon's hand…
(( D: noooooooo))
“I’m okay I guess…still just a little surprised. But thank you, I didn’t want him to end up hurting someone else later.” He said quietly, not noticing or understanding Astral’s actions.
"I know I should have talked to you about this before hand. I'm sorry for the shock." Astral patted Simon's hands lightly. It wasn't often he sealed someone like this- the mind would turn on itself in a few minutes, and they couldn't tell when Astral was breaking them. Still, it was what he thought he needed to do.
"And you're welcome…"
