You're welcome. Mia was content, staying like this with Simon. But Astral had different plans. He knocked on the door, humming a bit to himself. He was in a genuinely good mood at the moment- his plan had worked, and he would be the first god to have a biological, demigod child.
((on a scale of 1 to 10 how mad would Astral be if Simon somehow got rid of the child))
“C-come in.” He said, a bit surprised since he just hadn’t heard Astral approaching. But then again, he hadn’t been paying much attention.
((another question…..did Astral remember to heal his arm where Simon scratched him?))
(hmmmmmmmm on that scale it's Ensuring Simon will Suffer A Thousand Deaths and Proceed To Continue R-ping Him Until He Finally Has A Child)
Astral opened the door, smiling some.
"Good morning!" Astral said. He genuinely looked Simon now- the man would have his child, and he knew even after they were born he would give Simon many special privileges. Mia wasn't used to seeing Astral this chipper, ever.
(ye but they're like, scars now cause self healing isn't as complete)
((hmmmm f for Simon then ig. He won’t trust Astral to actually take care of le child.))
((Sooooo knowing that should Simon notice? He still remembers scratching someone in his dream and he might figure things out.))
(Astral would be surprised good at it, actually. He'd genuinely care for the kid which is a very good thing for them)
(he might notice them, but Astral would definitely write it off that he always had them and make it clear with his tone Simon was getting too close to becoming breeding stock for Astral.)
((good for him then lol))
((Yikes well okay then))
“U-um..good morning?” Even though Astral had been treating him well this entire time, even he’d never seen the man this happy or excited.
Astral came over to sit on the side of the bed, have folded in his lap.
"Did you sleep well?" He asked. He smiled sweetly. Mia was completely confused- he was too happy, too sweet. Something had happened that he really, truly enjoyed.
He hesitated before shaking his head. “Not really no..” he felt nervous around Astral now, though he truly had no idea as to why. He noticed the scratches on Astral’s arm but didn’t say anything. ‘Those could have been from anything Simon, stop being so paranoid.’
"Oh, I'm sorry about that." No he wasn't, but he didn't let it show. Still, he was still holding this morning. Nine months, none months and he would have his own child. He'd get to see just why they weren't allowed to have them.
He shrugged. “It’s okay, not like it’s your fault or anything.” He offered a weak smile up at the other. “You seem to be in a good mood at least.” He commented, laughing softly.
Astral laughed just a bit.
"Yes, I am. It must seem rude, with the answer you have to my question." Astral let out a soft sigh.
“Oh, don’t worry about that. I wouldn’t want to ruin your good mood with just a stupid nightmare anyway.” His smile widened a bit. It did make him feel a bit better, seeing the other so happy.
Astral liked it when Simon smiled. Good, he didn't suspect a thing.
"Mm, okay! You feeling hungry?"
“A little.” He said, just to please Astral. He knew he probably wouldn’t end up eating that much this morning.
Astral nodded a bit. He figured Simon want, after the 'nightmare,' but he was more than happy to ignore that. He grinned at Simon, standing and offering his hand.
Simon set Mia back down on the nightstand gently before carefully taking Astral’s hand, letting the other pull him to his feet.
Astral let out a happy hum, even still holding Simon's hands as he led the other man to the kitchen.
"Anything you'd like? I can make most anything!" Astral was in a very, very good mood.
He shook his head. “I’ll just eat whatever you want to make.” It was weird, seeing Astral acting like this, it wasn’t like the other had been cruel to him in the past, he’d just never seen Astral this happy. And for seemingly no reason. He sat down at the counter, feeling a bit relieved when Astral finally let go of him.
Astral made his way over to the counter, looking through the cabinets for ingredients.
"Mm, okay then!" Astral turned to Simon a moment, still smiling.
Simon smiled as well when Astral did. He couldn’t really help it, he liked seeing the other happy. “H-hey Astral?” He began, figuring he might as well ask this while the god seemed to be in a good mood.
Astral had started cooking, cracking a few eggs into a pan. He looked over, tilting his head a bit.
"Yes?" He asked, still smiling.
“I-is it okay if we go back down to Earth, just for today? M-maybe get a few of my things?” He had been wearing the same clothes for the past week. “I won’t try and run away or anything.” He asked, looking down at the counter while he spoke, finally looking up a bit at Astral once he finished speaking, fully expecting the other to say no.
Astral thought a moment over what Simon suggested. Would it be safe for the baby? He could see no reason not to, really. He knew Simon couldn't get away if he tried.
"Sure, why not!" Astral smiled at Simon sweetly.
He looked up at Astral more, a wide smile appearing on his face. “R-really? Thank you!!” He said, his mood having significantly improved now, to where he was almost as happy as Astral was.
Astral grinned, dishing out the eggs and bacon he'd made. He set Simon's plate down, hugging him a moment before going to sit down.
"You're welcome!" Simon had been good- besides, he felt like spoiling the man a bit.
