The trinket sobbed a moment more.
He- he's never d-done– done something like that before–! She managed to sputter out.

The trinket sobbed a moment more.
He- he's never d-done– done something like that before–! She managed to sputter out.
“Oh my god really? I’m so sorry…it’s my fault..” he said softly, settling back down on the bed with her in his hands.
N-no… I sh-should have– have known he w-would catch us talking eventually… The trinket looked up at Simon, still crying softly- you could hear it in her voice..
“I’m sorry, I didn’t think he would do something this awful…” he frowned, gently stroking the trinket. He was upset at Astral still for having even done it in the first place.
He… the trinket trailed off. He h-has done… done many things…
“I know….” he said quietly. He had kinda figured out over time that while Astral may be treating him nicely, he wasn’t like that a majority of the time.
The trinket closed her eyes a moment.
I… I hate him…
“I don’t blame you, it seems like you’ve been through a lot…just don’t let him hear you say that.”
The trinket froze a bit.
Y– Yeah… She couldn't go through that again.
He continued to gently stroke the trinket, hoping she’d somewhat feel better. He’d do that until the both of them were more stable.
((Sooo….got any plans for what we do next?))
(mmm… I do have something to do this night that I mentioned earlier >:D)
The trinket eventually calmed down some, sniffling a bit. She fell silent, eyes closed. She was done with all of this…
((Well shit time to cry if I’m thinking of what you’re thinking of))
Simon stayed awake until then, making sure she would be okay. After he was completely sure she’d calmed down, he set her over on the nightstand and got under the covers. He knew Astral had told him to get something to eat, but after all of the events from that night, he’d simply lost his appetite. So might as well just sleep right?
(>:D)
It was much appreciated when Simon did his best to help her, the trinket had to admit. She was quiet for a moment when she was set down.
Could… could you hold me? The trinket asked softly. She didn't want to be needy, but… she was terrified Astral would do something to her again.
He opened his eyes, looking over at her. “I don’t want to accidentally hurt you when I’m asleep though…that would be bad..”
I… right, the trinket said softly. She didn't try to argue, knowing Simon was right. Still, she was a bit scared of being alone- something she hadn't been for a long time.
“It’s okay, I don’t think he’s going to bother you anymore tonight….” Simon said, yawning a bit. He closed his eyes, starting to drift off. He didn’t think anything else was going to happen tonight.
It wasn't until late into the night that the door finally opened. In stepped Astral, looking down at Simon. He already had the things he needed in hand, his plans for Simon nothing but malicious as he closed the door.
(Dms..?)
((Yeah that’d probably be best))
(You or me?)
((Could you do it? I have to go do something real quick))
(Sure!)
((Aaaaaand we’re back))
(How traumatized is Simon, exactly?)
((On a scale of 1/10 probably a 12. I went a bit overboard for drama’s sake))
(NOOOO-)
