“Noted” she says readjusting her posture in the chair.
She flipped out a small white piece of paper and a small pen, writing her number on it and sliding it over to the man across the table. “Well, it was wonderful talking to you, but i really must get going” she says standing up and turned to her sister as the man she was talking to disappeared.
(We should have a main plot type thing. Like an excuse for them to meet up with eachother over and over again until they become buds then fall in love and sappy stuff ig.)
(Hmmmmmmmm we should.)
King took the piece of paper. He saw the number and was half tempted on throwing it away, but talking to her could be interesting. If he did though, that would just be another thing to juggle around in his already hectic life. He gave her a shrug, "Okay, I'll talk to you later then I suppose."
(I just got something of an idea. What if King ended up having to do some type of project thing for his classes and ends up having to work with Aria because of it?)
(Oooh! I would love that! Why would she be involved is what I’m concerned about? Though, since hes like in law school there could be a way to meet a villain. But idk how that would be legally possible since if they have the in their hands they would of course put them in jail or somethin. So imma just throw that idea away i guess? Sorry if that doesn’t make sense I’m kinda tired…)
(No, no it's good even if it won't work. What else does she do besides terrorizing the corrupt?)
(Like outside of villain work?)
(Yeah that. Same thing isn't it?)
(Lol ya)
(So she works with a clothing business. Making outfits n crap. I haven’t worked that much out so far, but its decently big. Idk)
(Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm maybe he needs to do some project on the laws of business or some shit like that. I don't know, I'm not in law school. But does that sound good?)
(yeah it does! Should we do a small skip?)
(Yeah, you mind starting or no?)
(I don't mind at all! I'll get it up in a sec)
(so should I just go to her working ornis there something going on with his school thingy?)
(Whatever you want. I'll work with whatever ya give me.)
(Oh okay!)
Aria waved goodbye to her little sister before starting the car and pulling out of her small parking space beside their small house. It was nice and cozy, perfect for two sisters to live there. They both loved it there and to Arias knowledge, neither of them planned on moving out soon.
Pulling out, she turned the corner onto the dirt road leading to the main road, taking her directly to where she needed to go. She worked at Forever 21. Of course she did
As stylish she was, that was the perfect place for her to work. She knew almost everything about every single piece of fabric on the racks.
(Sorry its kind of short)
King had his hair pulled into a high ponytail. One of his classes had given the project of studying a business along with the laws that applied? He didn't exactly recall the exact assignment, but he remembered the gist of it. He also remembered the business, franchise he had been assigned to observe, shadow, study, whatever, Forever 21. He had ridden off to where the local store was, or the one he was supposed to go according to his professor and entered the store. He still found the whole thing stupid but wasn't going to argue. the moment he stepped in his eyes shot to a pink-haired woman he recognized from a few days ago, well great.
Her long hair danced across her back with every smooth movement she made as she helped a few girls pick out cute outfits as they were being incredibly indecisive and testing her patience. But of course she would NEVER show it. A sweet smile on her face, a lacy crop top which definitely wasn't the most modest, but as she said “hey, I’m wearing a shirt aren't i?” With an attitude. Everyone gave up arguing with her.
Tight ripped jeans gripped around her thighs and calves and her heeled boots clacked on the slick checkered tile floor with every step she took. Turning around to the door opening she spotted a man she recognized.
“Hunted me down huh?” She sauntered over to him, leaning over the counter with a smile. “Am i that irresistible to you?” She asked with flirtatious way about her already, her pink hair falling over her shoulder covering her cleavage. Well, as much as it could.
King felt his cheeks turn red without his consent, what else were they supposed to do? This lady had no shame and seemed to enjoy showing her body off. Granted it was- Stop. Don't go there. He cleared his throat in an attempt to regain his composure and forced a breath to remove his red-pink cheeks. He looked at her eyes rather than her, um, other places, "No, you're not. I wasn't expecting to run into you here. I'm, uh, here for a class assignment? Your manager should know about it."
She raised her eyebrow with a little suspicion in her eyes before she stood straight “its fine sweetie. You dont need to make excuses. Anyway, ill go get him. Ill be back” she winked at him before turning around and going into a separate room off of the side of the big store.
Soon a short woman stepped out of the room with a tired expression. Which was completely understandable since it was so early. Only 7 in the morning she most likely got up at five. That couldn’t have been enjoyable in the least. “This is Flora!” Aria smiled, stepping up to the counter.
“Oh are you the law student?” She raised an eyebrow. Her black curly hair all over her face, she was more on the heavy side and you could tell she could be a really happy lady if she wasnt so tired.
King let out a sigh as Aria left brushing the few strands of hair back. He perked up as the short woman stepped out, he completely understood her tired appearance as he more often than not wore a similar expression. He smiled at the lady and gave her a nod, "That would be me, Ms. Flora. I hope I'm not late or anything, my professor wasn't extremely specific on what I would be doing. Oh, my name is King by the way."
She tried her best to maintain her strained smile on her face, holding out a hand to shake his firmly, noticing the bandage so wary of that.
“Nice to meet you King. You’re on perfect time, if not a bit early.” She says turned to Aria
“You can work with Ari or Raymond over there” she nodded towards a big lowkey buff guy looking at the shoes as he rearranged them near the back. Hearing his voice, the tall man glared over to the two and with a grunt turned back to the shiny shoes, setting them back in place after a girl knocked them all over.
Aria let out an awkward little laugh as she looked at him then at King “if you want murdered go over there” she says with a smile as her boss stepped back into her room to fill out even more papers.
King gave the lady a firm shake with his uninjured hand before Flora disappeared. He looked between the two and then back at Aria, “Guess I’m working with you then. Though I have to ask, are you required to where that type of clothing? Or even really allowed to?”
She laughed a bit and leaned against a pillar that held the security cameras, crossing her arms. "oh, am I too distracting for you hon?" she smirked
“No,” King responded immediately feeling the heat in his cheeks grow again. He returned in kind crossing his arms as well, “I was just curious about the dress code here, that’s all. It’s a perfectly reasonable question.”
"Nah, it's my choice. It gets rather hot in here any way" she says fanning herself with her hand dramatically before pushing herself up off of the pole. "Don't worry, you don't have to wear anything scandalous" she turned back to him "unless you want to" she poked his nose teasingly before stepping up to a girl with a cart full of clothes. Finally, she had chosen what she wanted. She was obviously spoiled brat. Nobody buys this many thing here unless they're rich.
King stood for a moment after he was poked in the nose. His mind was reeling just slightly, but he was comforted by the fact that her clothing was her own choice. Not apart of dress code requirements. He stuck towards the back observing and taking notes so that he could refresh himself on what he should be doing while making some progress.
