Rowan shrugged. "I don't really care… you guys have huge beds, and it's probably cheaper to just get one, right?"

Matthew thought a moment.
"It would be cheaper, yes. And the beds can be quite massive." He couldn't help a little smile, putting his head on Rowan's.

"Mhmm… it's probably to accommodate your wings or something, right?" Rowan asked curiously.

"Yes. Some sleep with their wings spread out, and it can be bothersome when they don't fit completely." Matthew smiled a bit.
"I prefer using them like blankets."

Rowan nodded a bit. "We've got some pretty small beds on earth. I'll show you mine when we go to get my stuff."

"Okay then! It'll be a lot of fun to see your world. Well, your part of it." Matthew smiled a bit.

"Mhmm! It's alright in some places. New York is kinda shitty." Rowan shrugged and huddled a little closer to Matthew.

Matthew sighed a bit.
"Well, we'll only see a little bit of it." They couldn't do much more, after all.

"True. You can help me pack my things. I don't have a lot, but… enough that I wanna bring it with me."

"Okay! Do you have bags for the items, or should we get some when we get to the city?" Matthew smiled, rocking a bit with the stride of the horse.

"I've got enough bags to hold my things. We'll have to help my mom pack too." Rowan smiled gently.

Matthew nodded.
"Well, I'm good at fitting a lot into small things, so we'll be able to pack a lot if she wants!"

"Sounds good to me." Rowan smiled a bit more brightly and huddled closer to Matthew. "She might want to bring some trinkets…"

"Okay! It'll be interesting to see them. I think they'll probably be really different than what we have here." Matthew tightened his hold on Rowan, smiling.

"I'm sure. She loves to collect random little things she finds… especially wooden animals and such."

"Aww," Matthew said softly. "Those sound so cute! Why did no one here think of that…" he chuckled softly.

Rowan laughed a bit as well. "I dunno… she mostly uses them for decoration. Most of what she has doesn't have any real function or use."

Matthew tilted his head.
"Oh? Interesting…" he hummed faintly.

"Mhmm. She really just likes the way they look." Rowan shrugged a bit. "She'll want her photo albums, too."

Matthew tilted his head a bit.
"What are those?"

"Oh! Um… remember the pictures I was talking about before?" Rowan asked. "We can print out the pictures we take and collect them in a big book."

"Oh! That sounds so nice! Will I get to see pictures of you?" Matthew smiled, happy he had figured it out.

"Yeah, sure! She's got lots from when I was real little." Rowan smiled gently. "Considering you thought I was the size of a child, I'm sure my baby pictures will look even tinier."

Matthew smiled brightly.
"Aww! I'm sure you looked absolutely adorable."

Rowan flushed a bit and toyed with a strand of his hair, still grinning. "Yeah… I guess I was a pretty cute kid."
