Matthew blushed just faintly.
"It wasn't just then you were," he mumbled softly to himself.

"What was that?" Rowan asked curiously. He heard Matthew say something, but he hadn't been able to decipher it.

Matthew shook his head a bit.
"Nothing," he said, the blush still on his face.

Rowan considered for a couple seconds before shrugging and facing forward. "Alright. I'm guessing you don't have any baby pictures?"

"No. Having pictures painted is expensive, and it's even more so for children because of how much they move." Matthew shrugged a bit.

"Mm… makes sense. I guess there's no record of baby Matthew, then?" He asked with a dramatic sigh.

"No. I'm sorry, I guess we'll just have to make up for it by taking lots and lots of pictures of the chicks." Matthew smiled.

"Yep! Speaking of…" Rowan pulled out his phone and took a picture of the chicks in the nest, smiling brightly.

Tammy looked up curiously when Rowan pulled his phone out. She let out a small squeak at the flash, startled.
"Aww," Matthew said softly.

"You're okay, baby. I'm just taking pretty picture of you." Rowan smiled gently and rubbed Tammy's head to calm her.

Tammy nodded a bit, leaning into the petting with a soft chirp.
"Did the picture turn out good?" Matthew asked.

"Mhmm!" Rowan showed the picture to Matthew while he continued to pet Tammy. "Sorry I scared you, baby…"

"Aw, it looks really good!" Tammy nuzzled into Rowan's hand, letting out a soft chirp and looking up at him. She'd calmed down.

Rowan smiled again and leaned back into Matthew. "Glad you think so. The camera on my phone is pretty good."

Matthew smiled. He rested his head on Rowan's, letting out a hum.
"I'm glad. We could show it to everyone when we get back! It would be so cool!"

"Sure! The phone or the picture?" Rowan asked curiously, looking up at Matthew from where he was.

"Both!" Matthew grinned. "Everyone will be so intrigued by them."

"Sounds good to me." Rowan smiled gently. "I'm sure they'll find it really interesting."

Matthew nodded.
"It'll be really fun for them to see it."

"Yep! When's the next time we're stopping?" Rowan asked. "Gotta feed the babies…"

"Hm…" Matthew thought a moment.
"We can stop just up here, if we want."

"Sounds great. Y'all hungry?" Rowan gently nudged the chicks.

Tammy nodded quickly. The boys were both snuggling. Timmy looked up, nodding a bit. Tommy just… Yawned. Matthew chuckled a bit. He brought the horses to a stop, picking Rowan up bridal style again.

Rowan flushed when Matthew picked him up and hid his face again. He didn't look up until he and Matthew were back on the ground.

Matthew set Rowan gently down, smiling a bit. Was it wrong to say he loved making Rowan blush like that? That Rowan was so affected by his actions the high hid his face? He lightly set his hand on Rowan's shoulder.
