He let out a loose chuckle. "Mmh." he agreed, shaking his head a little bit. His black and white hair swayed with the movement.

Tohru licked his lips nervously.
"Alright, then. Need any help packing things up, or anything else?" he asked, "Honestly I feel like that's all I can do now."
"I don't have much." he replied. He headed into a nearby room and grabbed a bag. "This is it."
"Oh, alright. Should we… should we get going? I've got everything on my person already.
Tohru put his jacket back on, tucking away the things he'd dropped in the fight. He laced up his shoes and slung his small bag over his shoulder.
He nodded a little bit. "Yeah. Have you got a ship, or do we need to buy passage? I don't have a ship." he looked at Tohru.
“I do, but I can’t guarantee we’ll be completely safe from tracking,” Tohru replied.
He grabbed his keys from his belt.
“I’m also parked back where we came from.”
He nodded a little bit. "Yeah. Alright. Let's go." He put his cloak on again, tugging it up so it covered his horns and tail.
Tohru swept one last glance over Davin's apartment before starting towards the door.
"I'm ready," he replied, reaching towards the doorknob and turning it.
Some odd fear had risen in his chest. He was feeling vulnerable, like he was already being watched and hunted down, even though nothing of the sort had happened yet. Tohru felt as if stepping outside would walk him right into the hands of one of his superiors, and eventually lead to his demise.
Davin nodded. He walked with Tohru as they headed out the door. What in kathrs am I doing? He asked himself.
As they walked through the night, Tohru was feeling unsettled and jumpy. Even the individual shadows filled him with an odd fear. They passed by, and he felt like he was being followed. Occasionally, he looked back to Davin to make sure he was still there.
Davin stayed with Tohru, his tail and horns hidden behind his cloak once again. He took a deep breath, putting his hands in his pockets.
After walking what felt like an eternity, Tohru motioned at his ship. There was only room enough for the two of them, but that was all the better for more discreet travel.
“Here she is,” Tohru said, opening the door with a little flick of his clicker.
Davin nodded, following Tohru inside. "Where are you wanting to go?" He asked. He made his way into the cockpit, pulling up a starchart. He marked off several planets. "I've already been to these, so I'd rather not go back to them."
“I think I’ll make this one your call,” Tohru replied, “Of course, unless I outright disapprove of the place.”
He started up the engine and looked over to Davin.
“Did you have one in mind?”
Davin shook his head. "No. I usually take the cheapest ticket to wherever." he replied, looking at Tohru. "My only stipulation is it has to be an actual planet. I can't stand the stations."
“Ah, well. That works for me. I’d much rather stay on a planet than a station too,” Tohru replied.
He scanned the possible options and sat there quietly, pondering what might be a good place to go.
He nodded, looking at the planets. His eyes flashed to Kaythan, and he closed his eyes for a moment, struggling to keep focused and not slip into golden skies and tears.
Tohru had his finger hovering slightly over the map. He thought to himself, narrowing things down a bit in his head.
"One of these two," he replied, pointing to two planets he'd decided on.
He opened his eyes, looking at the two. "Hah? Oh. Either one is fine with me." he replied absently, scrubbing a hand over his face and trying to banish his memories.
"The closer one, then," Tohru replied.
He put in the coordinates and messed with some buttons on his dashboard.
"Are you comfortable? Temperature's okay and everything?"
Davin nodded. "Yeah, I'm good. I'm from the more temperate region of…of Kaythan, so. I'm fine." He put his hood down, taking a deep breath.
“Alright, I’ve been told I keep it a little too cold sometimes. I’m from a much colder region,” Tohru explained.
He started to pull off the ground.
He shrugged his shoulders. "I'm fine. But thanks." he replied, running a hand over one horn. Gold flashed through his mind, and he let out a slow breath. Stop it.
Tohru sighed softly.
“I’m really sorry about everything,” he said, “I feel like we could’ve actually… I don’t know, even though I was using the whole thing as an excuse to capture you, when I wasn’t thinking about that, I was actually having a good time.”
He let out a faint sound of amusement. "Yeah, besides the fact that it was all a lie, it was fun." He replied, shaking his head a little bit.
