After he got out of the bathroom, Tohru went towards the kitchen.
"Making some noodles. Want anything?" he asked, throwing his clothes into the hamper.
After he got out of the bathroom, Tohru went towards the kitchen.
"Making some noodles. Want anything?" he asked, throwing his clothes into the hamper.
Davin looked up. "Hm? Oh, uhm, sure." He got up.
"Okay, I'll make two servings," Tohru replied, going into the kitchen.
"Thanks." he called after Tohru.
Tohru pulled out a pan once he got into the kitchen and got out a couple of packages of noodles, then started cooking. He let out a soft sigh. It would be great having Davin work nearby, since that meant he got to see the other more often, but it was also a little nervewracking, as that was a lot more chances to make a fool of himself in front of the guy. And oh gods, his coworkers knew about his little crush, and he was almost certain someone would try to help him make a move. Which he didn't want. At all.
Davin got up from the bed, coming out into the kitchen. He leaned against the counter a little, studying Tohru for a moment, quiet.
Tohru tried to pay Davin no mind while he cooked; he was feeling a little embarrassed and exposed. Yet, he still found himself stealing the occasional glance over.
Davin eventually looked away again, not wanting to stare. He sighed faintly, closing his eyes tiredly.
Ultimately, it didn't take Tohru very long to make the meal. When he finished, he split the noodles into two separate bowls and slid one over to Davin.
Davin took the bowl and a fork. "Thanks." He said, giving the other man a grateful smile.
Tohru hungrily started on his noodles. He was pretty tired from work, and he hadn't eaten in a while. He barely paid Davin any mind as he ate.
He ate his own food at a more sedate pace, quiet and thoughtful.
Tohru had mostly finished his meal when he finally slowed down. He picked at the last of the noodles, his mind wandering off to some of the commissions he'd seen. Was it still a good idea?
Davin yawned quietly, shifting, his tail twitching faintly as he did so.
"Got anything going on tomorrow?" Tohru asked, "I have the day off. First one so far."
"Mm, I should hear back from the potential job tomorrow, but other than that, no."
"Alright. Well, I'll just be at home unless you want to do something. Although I feel like we've been hanging out a lot, so I totally get if you don't-" Tohru replied softly.
He shrugged a little. "I don't know, it would be fun to explore the area a bit more, maybe." He replied, giving Tohru a quick smile.
"That could be fun. I'd definitely like to sleep in a bit first, though," Tohru said with a laugh, "Aside from that, I've got nothing to do."
"Yeah, sleeping in sounds great." He agreed. "Let's do that, then."
"Yeah, I think I'm ready to turn in too," Tohru replied, "Long day. Tomorrow off. I'm gonna sleep so much."
He placed his dish in the sink to wash later and started towards the bedroom.
He smiled a little, finishing his noodles. "Alright. I'll come to bed in a few minutes. Goodnight." He set his dish in the sink, rinsing it off and then heading towards the bedroom.
"Night," Tohru said as he continued out.
He laid in bed before Davin did, and turned his body towards the wall, trying to look away from where the other would be sleeping. For some reason, watching the other doze gave him warm and comforting feelings, but it made him feel like a creep if he so much as glanced at Davin while he was asleep.
Davin came into the room, laying down on his side of the bed. He curled on his side as he usually did, tail wrapping around his legs so that he wouldn't accidentally wrap it around Tohru in his sleep.
(Last month has been actually the worst, trying to get back into rping if you'd still be interested in continuing this one. If not, that's cool too.)
