He laughed softly. "Mm…it's not that hard, though." he looked over at Tohru.
He laughed softly. "Mm…it's not that hard, though." he looked over at Tohru.
"Ahh- it makes me nervous beyond belief, though," Tohru admitted, "I'd just… rather not…"
He shook his head a bit.
"Maybe it'll be easier when all my conversation targets are drunk."
He laughed again. "Yeah. You're a bartender, you'll be fine." he smiled over at Tohru.
"Yeah, probably getting too worked up, huh?" he replied.
"Anyway, want to try to find some pillows?"
"Yeah. And yes, let's find some pillows." he looked up at the signs, and headed towards the correct section.
Tohru followed the other quietly. Why was it that he always acted like a dumbass in front of him? He tried to shake the thought away.
"These are kinda nice," he said, picking up a dark red pillow that had a soft case.
It wasn't fuzzy enough that it looked tacky- just enough to be comfortable.
"Perhaps in a different color though."
He hummed faintly. "Maybe in a cream color?" He suggested. "Or something like that." He looked over at Tohru.
"Yeah, let's see if they have something like that," he agreed, continuing down the aisle.
"I hope so, because a lot of these are just… decorative, you know?"
"Yeah. I want comfortable stuff, not just… decorative shit." He said, smiling over at Tohru.
"Yeah- oh, there's some more," Tohru said, turning to the other side of the aisle, "Hm, how are these?"
(not gonna be too active tonight sorry)
He examined them. "Those look like they should work."
(Me neither, I have an exam to take personally, so it's all good)
"Great… let's see, we've got the couch, the armchair… How many do we get? Three maybe?" Tohru asked, starting by picking up two of the pillows.
(alright!)
"Mm…three sounds about right, yeah." Davin agreed with a smile, grabbing a third.
"Alright, then. What next?" Tohru asked, placing them in the cart.
He grabbed the cart's handle and tightened his grip on it.
He hummed faintly. "I…don't know. We've got paint, pillows…maybe some spare blankets?"
"Mm, yeah. There's some on the end of this aisle," Tohru agreed, continuing to push the cart in front of him.
He nodded slightly, moving to pick up some blankets. "Should we get the soft and fluffy ones, or…?"
"Ooh, yeah," Tohru replied, "That's probably a good idea. I may not act the type, but I really do like soft pillows and blankets."
He laughed a bit to himself.
"If that's what you want to do?"
He smiled. "Yeah. I like fluffy ones too, so that's good." He picked up a few, placing them in the cart.
"Mmm, and then maybe a few pictures for the walls?" Tohru suggested.
He walked a bit ahead of Davin.
"Yeah." Davin agreed, following Tohru through the aisles.
"Any particular kind of art? Like I dunno, are you a photography kind of guy, or do you like abstracts, or something else?" Tohru asked, "I like to mix it up a bit myself, but if we could find a few landscape or still-life kinds of paintings that don't break the bank, that'd be cool."
"Mm…I don't really have much of a preference, I suppose." he replied honestly.
"Fair enough, we can just do whatever looks good with the color scheme," Tohru replied.
He hummed softly as he continued down the aisle, and he came across a painting of a dark blue pond. Under the surface, there was a soft gold glow, and moving up into the sky, there were small birds with shining wings, and a glitter of stars.
"What do you think of this one? I think it could go nicely in the bedroom."
"That works." he agreed with a nod. "It looks nice." he smiled a little, checking the price tag. "And I think we can actually afford it, too."
