Aiki whined and hit his head against the wall repeatedly, clearly kicking themself for being such a moron. "God, I can't believe I said that to him… it's a nightmare, right? I didn't actually?"
Aiki whined and hit his head against the wall repeatedly, clearly kicking themself for being such a moron. "God, I can't believe I said that to him… it's a nightmare, right? I didn't actually?"
Farah swiped her hand quickly and used her magic to pull Aiki away from the wall. "Don't hit your head!" she cried. "Are you insane? You could hurt yourself."
"Yeah, that's the point. I'm so stupid…" Aiki buried their face in their hands, trembling lightly where he stood.
"No, you aren't!" Farah objected. "You were brave! I'm proud of you!"
"I'm not brave! I'm an idiot! He probably thinks I'm super weird now!" Aiki whined. "I feel like I'm gonna throw up…"
"You are not an idiot!" Farah stated firmly.
"How am I not an idiot? I just told my crush out of the blue that I think he's hot and now he probably actually hates me and his friends think I'm stupid too a-and I can't ever face him again and…" Aiki was panicking now, trembling and struggling to breathe.
Farah gently touched Aiki's arm. She wasn't going to say anything else until he calmed down.
Aiki took a while to start settling down, and he was still pretty jittery even when they could breathe a little better.
"Breathe," Farah said simply. "Just catch your breath."
Aiki whimpered softly, closing his eyes as he trembled. "I… I-I'm sorry…" They whispered.
"You're alright," Farah murmured. She made sure to keep her voice and touch gentle. "It's okay."
"I feel sick…" Aiki grabbed onto Farah's hand, closing his eyes and exhaling shakily. "I need… need to sit down… sorry…"
"Alright, let's sit," Farah said, guiding Aiki over to a bench and letting herself sit.
Aiki sat down beside Farah and looked down at their trembling hands, taking a few deep breaths to try and relax.
"Just breathe." Farah's voice was soothing, and she gently ran her thumb over Aiki's hand.
"Mmnh…" Aiki rested his head on Farah's shoulder and closed their eyes, trying to breathe properly. "Do you think he hates me now…?"
"No," she answered honestly. "I don't think he hates you. I don't think he did to begin with."
"B-But he must be uncomfortable with me, and… and… I-I dunno…" Aiki sighed shakily, looking away.
"Do you want me to check?" she offered kindly.
"No, no, no… I-I can't… no…" Aiki shook his head, their heart racing again.
"Hey, it's alright. I won't if you don't want me to," she promised, wrapping her arms around them comfortingly.
Aiki whined softly, huddling up against Farah. "I don't… I-I don't want confirmation that he hates me…"
"I really don't think he does," Farah replied, gently stroking Aiki's hair to calm him down.
"How do you know? I-I mean, I basically forced my feelings on him. I'm sure he's uncomfortable now."
