She glared and made a hmph! Sound. "Fine." She sat there and just let him wash her hair. For now anyways.
She glared and made a hmph! Sound. "Fine." She sat there and just let him wash her hair. For now anyways.
Derlik watched Evelyn a moment, then let go of her legs to go back to washing her hair with a hum.
"You got a lot of syrup in your hair," he said softly, doing his best. He got most out, but he knew it would be a few washes until it was all gone.
"That's because syrup is yummy!" She said cheerfully, seeming to have already moved past her brattiness. She began to wiggle a bit though, thus proving to be a falsehood as she giggled a bit.
Derlik eventually gave up on getting all the syrup out this wash, chuckling a bit.
"I'm all done for now," Derlik finally said. "You ready to go back to being small?"
Evelyn nodded as she got out of the tub and began to dry off, then raced into the living room, and got dressed. She definitely was excited as she brushed out her hair and paced around.
Derlik dried off as well. He cleaned up in the bathroom a bit, getting dressed before coming out of the bathroom. Derlik smiled a bit, moving over to Evelyn.
"Almost ready?" he asked.
She nodded excitedly as she kissed him softly, and hugged him, wiggling around a bit.
Derlik smiled, kissing Eveyln back a moment. He reached up, cupping her cheek. In a moment, he was holding the five inch girl in his hand, smiling at her.
"I love you, baby girl."
She grinned and sat in his hand. "I love you too!" She cried out,an absolute tiny bean as she giggled and lay out in his hand.
Derlik smiled, rubbing Evelyn's back lovingly. He sat down on the bed, Twili jumping up to settle on Derlik's lap. Derlik smiled gently, scratching his daughters head and holding Eveyln with the other.
"Is there anything you'd like to do today?" Derlik asked.
"Hmmm…noes. I just wanna stay here with you!" She hugged his finger and gave it a kiss with a smile. Suddenly one of her band members came in. Evelyn quickly slid down his arm and climbed into his pocket,as the bend member held the door open, leaning against it. "Hey where's Evelyn?" I need some help with understanding a guitar riff on the next song."
Derlik looked up when the band member came in.
"No idea," he said. He knew the band knew about him, but he wanted to keep this a secret, at least for now.
"I'll let her know if I see her." Twili looked up from Derlik's lap when the door opened. she huffed slightly, seemingly ignoring it, before taking off, slipping between the man's legs.
"Shit!" Derlik exclaimed, bolting up out of bed to chase her.
(an FYI this is low key where I planned the dog running out since the door is wide open like the member is holding it open with his body)
(Eeee, added it uwu)
The band member was just about too leave when the dog suddenly bolted off the bed and out the door, racing down the halls, trying to get out. She wanted to be free. The band member gave Derlik a confused look before walking away back to his room. It wasn't his problem, he figured Derlik could deal with it. As soon as the band member left Evelyn cried out. "PUPPY! COME BACK!" And she pouted. "DERLIK GO GET PUPPY!"
Derlik dashed out the door.
"Twili!" He hissed, trying to catch up to the wolf. He didn't notice that Evelyn was no longer in his hand, too focused on getting to Twili before she was found.
Evelyn fell out of his pocket in his running, for if we remember she slipped into it earlier, and sat there on the ground. "DADDY!" She cried out, and began running after him but for every step she took he was ahead 4, then 8, and soon she had no idea where she was as she wandered out the doors of the hotel, and walked along the sidewalk. She looked around, tiny as a mouse, at the large towering crowds of people. She stood there in the grass, when a little girl with brown hair in pig tails was walking along the sidewalk with her mother. Evelyn caught this little girls eye, and she ran over and picker her up. "MAMA LOOK! I found a dolly!" The mother was too busy on a business call. "Not now sweetie mommy is busy. Sorry Mark, what time was the meeting?" The little girl held onto Evelyn a little too tight. "OW!" Evelyn cried out, which made the little girl look down. "Oh you can talk! And move!" Evelyn smiled. "Mhm! Hi! I'm Evelyn! And you are?" The little girl giggled, her backpack rustling. "I'm Lucille but you can just call me Lucy! Why are you so tiny?" "I'm a wingless fairy. I'm on a search for my wings back. You see, I was travelling with my lover, a huge giant named Derlik, when I fell out of his shoulder. Luckily you found me in time." The little girl nodded as Evelyn continued. "So keep me a secret from your parents, until my lover comes by again." "Okay! Wanna play dollies with me?" Evelyn nodded and was brought inside. Soon enough she was putting on a little fashion show of barbie clothes for the little girl in her room.
Derlik chased after Twili, finally catching her.
"Twili, no," he said, sighing. "If you want to go out, you have to tell me. We'd be glad to go on a walk with you. Right, Evelyn?" Derlik looked at his pocket, waiting a moment.
"Eveyln?" He was starting to panic at that. He set Twili down, who made a concerned whine, looking everywhere for his lover.
"Eveyln!" He set off, this time, trying to find Eveyln.
Evelyn after finding herself the perfect outfit, sat down and started to play with the rest of the little girls barbies. Eating fake food, and all around just having a really really fun time. Now, this little girl had a rottweiler, who was really nice, but always liked to chew on Lucilles dolls. It sat there at the door, clawing and whining at it. "No Rosco! You always chew on my dollies!"
Derlik set Twili down, who started trying to catch Evelyn's scent. Derlik hurried along, trying to find her too.
"Eveyln!" He called out again. Twili tugged at his tights, and he followed after her to a house. He knocked on the door, thinking about how he would explain this.
Suddenly the little girls little 2 year old brother wadded up to the door and opened it. "PUP GO!" It cried out as the dog barreled into the room right for the dollhouse. "THOMAS NO! ROSCOOOO!" The little girl grabbed the dogs collar and tried to drag him out but she was too weak. Evelyn grabbed her clothes and ran out of the room, inbetween the dogs legs. Now then, this dog had never seen Lucilles dolls get up and run before, and so he gave chase in excitement, barking as they both barreled for the door. Her father had left the back door open since he was gardening, and so they both barreled out. Somehow Evelyn managed to make it over to a storm drain on the other side of the house and sit in it, as the dog lay down and barked and barked away. "ROSCO! GET OVER HERE! ROSCO!" The dad yelled, grabbing the dog and bring him back inside. "Leave the poor creature alone, cmon now." The dog would not relent and wrestled with him. Lucille followed and sat in the grass by the storm drain. Evelyn began to cry, scared shitless.
Twili sniffed a bit more, leading Derlik to the backyard. She growled at the bigger dog, barking at him to try to get him to back off.
"Eveyln?" Derlik said, looking around in confusion.
The father had headed back inside to see if he could lure the dog back inside with dog treats. Lucille stayed outside, as Rosco stuck his nose in the gutter (Not storm drain excuse me I'm tired) and huffed. Lucille looked up at Derlik. "OH! You must be the fairies boyfriend! The giant Derlik!" She giggled and twirled around. All it took was 2 shakes of the dog treat bag and the dog went racing inside. Evelyn slowly walked out of the gutter, shaking and afraid, tears staining her cheeks as she looked around carefully.
"Ah- yes, I am," Derlik said quickly, going along with Evelyn's story. Derlik looked down when he saw movement, letting out a breath when he saw Evelyn. He knelt down, gently picking her up in his hands.
"Evelyn," He said softly, holding her close. "I'm so, so sorry this happened…"
Evelyn crawled into the crook of Derlik's neck and curled up, eventually calming down. As soon as she did she sat up, and slid down back to Derlik's hand. "Thank you for letting me stay with you in your dollhouse." She said with a smile, reaching out and booping the little girl. Lucille giggled. "I'll see you later Fairy Evelyn!" "Maybe someday." She then got back onto Derlik's shoulder. "Let's go back."
