Evelyn, still really small, squeaked and his, jamming her thumb in her mouth as her head stayed buried in his neck, already prepared to be judged and ridiculed. She was used to it.

Derlik kissed Evelyn's head gently.
"Hey, Twili," Derlik said calmly. "How was your first day back with the living?" Twili smiled, sitting down and grabbing some paper and a pen.
Really good! She smiled again. Derlik turned to Evelyn.
"Don't worry, baby girl. This is my adopted daughter, Twili, that I told you about."

Evelyn shyly waved, unsure of how Twili would respond too her little self. It was an extremely vulnerable side of her that very few knew about. She stayed pressed to Derlik, paci making an imprint on fake rhinestones into his chest.

Derlik patted Evelyn's head gently.
"It's okay, baby girl. We can trust her." Derlik kissed Evelyn's head. Twili tilted her head slightly. She dipped her head, shifting to the wolf pup from the night before. She wagged her tail a bit, coming a little closer.

"Puppy!" Evelyn immediately brightened as she grabbed the dog and put it in her lap, beginning to pet it. "She so soft and preeeetttyyy." She giggled, making happy clappy hands,wiggling her butt as she kept loving up on Twili.

Twili nuzzled Evelyn a bit, grinning. If she'd still been in human form, she'd be blushing.
"Yes she is," Derlik said with a smile. He patted Twili's head. He kissed Evelyn's head, holding her close.

(so many head kisses.) "Twili…like twilight sparkle!" She cried out, in comment to her favorite little show. She grinned and giggles,happy to be so smart, when suddenly the door opened. In walked Evan,covered in hickies and bite marks on his neck. "Oh uh…I'm just gonna take a shower and then play on my phone so don't mind me." Evelyn shrugged and returned her attention to the puppy.

Derlik smiled when Evelyn mentioned what he assumed to be a name. He had absolutely no idea, of course, being stuck in a statue for hundreds of years. He tensed a bit when the door opened, protective, but relaxed again when he saw it was just Evelyn's brother. He hummed faintly, arms going more securely around Evelyn's waist.

"Daddy I'm hungry." She said quietly, letting the puppy go. She sat up. Evan was the only person who knew about her little space, and she didn't want any of the hotel staff or her band seeing.

"Okay baby girl," Derlik said, sitting up as well.
"What would you like to eat?" He hummed softly. Thankfully, he had some ability to cook food, so they wouldn't have to go anywhere.

"I dunnoooo…" She whined, hugging the puppy almost a little too tightly, absolutely smothering it in pets and kisses.

"Be gentle," Derlik said. Twili had whined a bit, wiggling to try to get Evelyn to let up a bit.
"Here, we'll go get food together."

She loosened up a bit and pouted. "But I'm smol." She said in a whiny tone,getting all shy again.

"Well, there is a way you could come with me without anyone seeing you," Derlik started. He kissed her head, have gently going up to her cheek.
"Would you like to see some magic?"
