Yes.

(I actually love that show so much)

First part was the best. After that.. meh…

Yeah I liked the first part of SAO, I don't like anything after that, though

REALLY???

Korrasami dude. It's a hideous betrayal of bisexuality

How about…. The Love Interest™ looks like a god/goddess without their glasses on but as soon as they put them back on they're ugly again.
like wtf.

I'm a goddess with my glasses on and a slug without them.

Yeah, it’s like, do you want me squinting with my forehead all scrunched up, or do you want me not making terrible faces and able to see?
I’m just shocked that some people actually find glasses unattractive. Like my grandma asked me if I was going to get contacts. Like no???? Noooo way.

I think people with glasses tend to be against contacts because we are not used to seeing our faces without them so it's like looking at:

  1. an ugly slug (because we think we're only hot with the glasses)
  2. a complete stranger

and that's kind of uncomfortable.

I hardly even recognize myself without my glasses these days. I've been wearing them for……….shit 12/13 years?????

@Pickles group

I had to get contacts because my eyes keep getting worse and my glasses are hecking broken af but I was cute when I wore them and they fit. Now I'm just kinda…meh. I hate my contacts but I can't look down at a desk without my glasses straight up falling off my face. And I can't find frames that I like.

Contacts make me uncomfortable, I have trouble even putting on mascara for shows so I'm sure as hell not sticking a tiny piece of….whatever they're made of….in my eye.

I think it's a form of silicon????????????????

I literally wear fake glasses because I think I look better with them. Feel free to judge.

XD I love this actually. One of my best friends does this too. He says it makes him look "smarter and twice as Asian."

Hydrophilic plastics called hydrogels. Which EW. plastic on my eyeballs that's weird

@Becfromthedead group

To each their own. I know my mom started wearing contacts because she was an athlete growing up and her vision was terrible, so it works for her, but it's not the best solution for all people, especially considering if you don't care for contacts properly, they can even be dangerous.
Oh! And if there's a character with glasses, it would be so funny and relatable to have them occasionally complain about their smudged lenses or having to push their frames up their face all the time, or even getting their hair caught in their glasses.

@The-N-U-T-Cracker

I think it's because some people only need glasses to help them read better and reading is obviously the nerdiest thing anyone can do. Why that trope is so popular? Not a clue.
