@Althalosian-is-the-father book
Ah.
Ah.
well thats not entirely implausible humans will screw anything
I mean you're not wrong, but the trope just really bothers me.
Why can't we see the human form a parent/child relationship with the alien or robot or whatever instead, and teach them how the world works?
That would be fun. I love Yui. (I know I know.)
Aka if Victor had been a good father.
What are you talking about? Your stuff?
No, Frankenstein. Although I do have a Victor who probably wouldn't be a great father because he's not super emotionally stable. Also he's 22 and not done with college so yeah no kids for him.
Ooooooh.
He'd be the Strict Dad and Henry would be the Fun Dad if they ever adopted though.
Okay, back on topic.
LESS! WHINY! MCS!
Like I love Luke Skywalker with my whole heart, but in 4 and 5 he was. so. whiny.
Especially when said MC is being whiny about romantic relationships.
Amen!
I'm so done with poorly-written romance in books… Like it annoyed me before. I'm in a long-term relationship and it annoys me even more now.
Lol yes. After you're in a relationship your love BS tolerance drops considerably.
Ugh yeah.
Fanfiction romance is the most dramatic thing I've ever read. Seriously. Two minutes after seeing the person and suddenly the MC is like: "OH MY GOD WHAT DO I DO I'M IN LOVE"

Oof, I know. I'm writing a fan fic romance and closest they've got to "Falling in love" is when the main character at least see's that the other is slightly atractive.
EXACTLY!
It's one thing to see someone and go 'oh, they're hot' or 'oh, they seem cool, maybe I should talk to them' but NO ONE IN REAL LIFE looks at someone and goes 'it's fate. it's destiny. we're meant to be. we will have five children and their names will be Delilah, Jason, Eric, Paul, and Liesel.'
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
That was great!^^
That would be fun.
I love Yui. (I know I know.)
^^^^ Yui…. as in SAO??
Yes.
I tried to watch that show… Didn't make it far past that episode.
Yes.
(I actually love that show so much)
I really really hate when an author uses a character's sexuality as a plot twist.
