Write an outline if you can.
Yeah, I've done that, but I just keep adding to it. At this point I've added so much you could consider it a mini novel already if you just took the bullet points out.
Literally what I do. I just keep adding until I have a book. XD
I'm just kinda laughing about this story I'm writing right now. It started as a third-person story about one of my newer characters. Then I changed it to the first person, from the viewpoint of my new character, because why not. I keep switching to different conflicts, and it's pretty messy. Luckily, this is the first draft and I can just edit everything to fit later. YAY WRITING!
Lol same. I'm working on one and I have like no plot and barely any characters. Now that I think of it it isn't the only one.
Isn't that the best thing? When I'm finished I'm going to have one heck of an editing session to make it all fit together.
If you can write a mapping outline, half the battle is won.
I have a trilogy in the works, I've basically gone over the entirety of it in my mind, but I have three post-it notes of an outline for the entire thing and about a page and a half actually written. I don't count the 85 pages of the second book I've written because I've entirely scrapped that idea (but I will be saving some scenes because feels)
If you can write an outline do it. You'll thank me later.
Meanwhile I has an entire heccing 7 (I think… possibly more…) arc novel series semi planned out in my head…
Okay, I've nearly finished the first draft of this story I didn't even think was going to become anything and… I just… AGH! This is so exciting! The problem is… I don't know how to end it since I think I accidentally set myself up for a sequel… oops. Anyway… I just wanted to tell… anyone, really.
Cool! Way. To. Fricken. Go!
Thanks! I actually finished it now, so… writing the second draft is happening. Fun times.
Heyyyyy, anyone wanna be my writing buddy? Preferably someone that I won't feel incredibly awkward embarrassing myself repeatedly in front of because I have no confidence in my awful attempts at writing whatsoever and even speaking of it is humiliating to me

That's really great! Congrats!
I myself am pretty close to finishing one of my first drafts but I feel like I've been saying that for a while now 🙃
Oh, that's awesome! I know that feeling, sadly. It's not fun. I wish you all the best, though!
I CAN'T WRITE ANYTHING
YOU KNOW HOW MANY STORIES I HAVE GOING ON RIGHT NOW?
11+
ELEVEN STORIES AND COUNTING
ALL THAT I'M WORKING ON RIGHT NOW
THIS IS THE WORST, LONGEST WRITER'S BLOCK I'VE EVER HAD
Oh, gods. Writer's block is the WORST. I've not had it that bad, but… gods help you.
Have you tried writing something that probably won’t be cannon just to feel the story a bit more?
So… guess who's rewriting a story? You guessed it, it's me! And guess who's changing the first part of the story from third-person to first-person, even though the main character isn't even the main character yet? You guessed it, it's me.
Hello. Currently instead of writing I have been organizing all my writing. Also writing plots to new stories.
I feel. Addar, the Prequel. I feel.
That's fun times, right there.
