I’ve lived in Wisconsin for all but 2 years of my life and I’m going on 18… not once have I had cherry cheese…

Okay, bugs… maybe some bugs. I would consider certain types of worms, maybe crickets. Arachnids of any sort are off the table. Exoskeleton seems uh… not very fun to munch on.

Well, if you think about it, our taste for not eating bugs (and a ton of other foods, for that matter) is kind of determined by the culture we grew up in. Not to mention that insects are a really dense source of protein, so it's not like people eat bugs just to eat bugs. Also seems more environmentally friendly, if you ask me. Better than raising livestock in sometimes suboptimal conditions and causing various types of pollution (I'm a little fuzzy on the details, but it's kind of a big thing.)
It may seem a little strange, but I think really, it's more of an openness thing than it is "I want to eat bugs." I'm willing to try (almost) anything once.
