how can I relate to all of these o gosh
I'm homeschooledTM, so we don't have a dress code, but we're also religious, so I can't go out in
inhales
Sport shorts
"Belly shirts"
Yoga Pants
Leotards
Thin shirts
Bikinis
"Just hoodies" (we have to have a shirt)
Shorts that don't go past our fingertips
"Plain people clothes"
Backwards baseball caps (not enforced)
Straps showing'
Unbrushed hair (do you expect a 12 year old to brush her hair?)
Skin-tight anything
Spaghetti straps
Tank tops
Sleeveless stuff
Strapless stuff
Necklaces (not really super enforced)
Bracelets other than those rubber things)
Earrings
Rings
Pajama pants
Pajama shirts
OR Storebought ripped jeans (if they were bought ripped)
Which, compared to PS kids, isn't a LOT, but some of it is just rediculous.
I also hate that
"all homeschooled kids wear overalls and work on a farm"
I AM ANNOYED.
I am depreesed, ace, and frick, I am a SERIOUS theater kid.

I know this has already been said but it needs to be spread around.
CHRISTIAN HOMESCHOOLERS!!!!!
We do not all live on farms.
We know about sex.
We are not all geniuses.
We are not socially awkward.
We are not being indoctrinated.
We do not all only watch Christian movies.
Yes we are socialized.
We even have friends. (Who are not our siblings.)
Yes we actually do school.
No we do not do school in our pajamas.
Yes we are more likely to be weird, but I view that as a happy side effect of the fact that we are not put into a restrictive environment that forces us to comply with the mob or be ostracized.
B-but I do school in my pyjamas….. None of the other ones apply to me tho. Except that yes, I am a little weird, but I blame it on my various mental disorders.
Also, interesting fact, not all people with schizophrenia are psychotic. We do not hallucinate, nor do we do it often. We are normal people who should not be stigmatized.

Yass, I get so many people asking me if I live on a farm, and I am like " No, I live in the suburbs of the city".
People think Christian homeschooler live lives like the "Little House On the Prairie".
This may not be an issue on this site, but Il’ve noticed that in the Christian community, a lot of them view atheists/agnostics as evil, almost. And like, mean spirited people. That’s kinda how I grew up.
One thing I get annoyed with is "the Church is evil" trope. Like, every movie set in olden times has the Catholic Church as the bad guy for some reason?? They were the good guys in the olden days, so I don't get the point.

I agree with you, but there were some really corrupt people in the Church back in the day. Not all of them were bad, and the Chirch as a whole is not evil. But there are some evil people in it.

Yeah, I just feel like movie producers like to target the church alot.
Yeah, it's not cool… Sure, there are bad Christians out there. There are bad people in every religion, but it's just hurtful to make it seem like a big point in the villain's character. This is coming from me, one of the least religious people I know. Which leads to…
Agnostic (and atheistic) people don't hate religion necessarily, and not having a god to follow doesn't make them any less of a good person. Also I realize that occasionally I make "godless heathen" jokes without people realizing that I'm irreligious myself, soooo sometimes things get a little awkward. (Hahah my parents would probably freak out if they knew.)
Most atheist people don't mind religion.
I myself am not religious, but I read the bible because between demonic possession, Cain and Abel, Samson, the Four Horsemen, and angels murdering people in cold blood (seriously, they do).
The bible is very badass…

Okay, yes some of us do. But I bet it depends on the person, family, etc.
I know I never could. To me it would feel super messed up. Like I would feel so wrong.
Does anyone get what I mean?
Actually, it's mostly because I'm to lazy to change out of them…. hello darkness my old friend, I'm probably gonna stay single forever, and so on. Woe is me.

I'm Catholic, but putting that aside, I'll honestly read the Bible sometimes if I'm bored for some of the OT stuff. It's intense! And also a lot darker than children's Bibles would lead you to believe…
I'm sorta punk-ish so I must be A Rebel
No
I get along fine following most rules and I wish everyone else would do the same now stop texting in class you imbecile
I just have a vivid memory of my dad reading children's Bible stories to my little sister and he was reading about Daniel's affair with Bathseba and just looks up and goes "I thought this was for kids?"
