@ElderGod-Winter-The-Renegade-Legionnaire book

Oh, we also have lore that is supposed to protect us from all bad things, and it's called a hagstone. It's a stone with a naturally occuring hole in the middle of it, found on the sea shore. They are known to protect from hexes, curses, evil, and all other bad things. It is also said that if a hagstone breaks completely, it gave its life to protect the owner of the rock. It is a very powerful "magik" or magic. Consider yourself lucky to have one!

@Dragongirl2468 Curly-ish brown hair with eyes that change between green, grey, and blue Deep forest nymphs ( they only emerge when found or a child gets lost. They don't like to show up period. Very rare.)

Why do I feel like this is actually me? I'm not exactly like that, though. I'm actually okay with showing up.

Most are okay with it, but they don't like being used. They show up on their own terms. Or they don't show up at all.

Well that's fun, thanks Winter! Also, do you know of any websites/resources for Celtic mythology? Cuz that'd be the bomb, I can't really find anything.

Feel free to ask me more about Irish/Scottish lore! Oh if you like this, watch The Song of the Sea
Or
The Secret of Kells
They are animated movies, meant for children, but they cover a lot of lore. Especially The Song of the Sea. You'd enjoy it. (The names are kinda trippy tho…)

There really isn't any sites but the little movies that I mentioned are great for finding little bits and pieces of lore. You can start from there! I'll also look around to see what I can find, and I'll let you know!

@berlioz

I will also create another chat for it, if people are interested!

Yes p l e a s e
I'd like to know about all things Celtic

Well, I once thought I was going to get kidnapped or die. Whichever sounds less dramatic.
For clarification, last Thanksgiving my sister, my cousin and I went to the park alone. (It was really close to my cousin's house, we weren't going very far.) When we got there, we saw some stranger sitting across the way by themself, with a hood pulled up over their head. When they saw us, they got up and started coming at us.
Naturally, we were kind of freaked out, and kept our distance. Eventually, they turned off into a field and disappeared.
Later they came back, and we decided it was best if the three of us headed back to the house. While we were walking down the sidewalk, a man with a dark sweatshirt and jeans started coming up to us. The three of us were still a little rattled from the other 'encounter' so we were panicking a little. This time felt really different, since both phones we had, had died.
So pulling her dead phone out, my cousin started to pretend to talk on the phone. When we got closer, we all caught a look at the man's face-
Turns out it was my dad.
He was coming to make sure we were alright, and tell us dessert and stuff was set up.
So yeah. That was fun.

(Something related to the post above.)
My cousin and I went to the park, of course, her parents where there too. Anyway, the two of us went walking in the woods area, and she said she thought she saw a pair of eyes in the trees. I kinda wanted to see if anything was there, but we were also freaking out, and by that time, her parents said ti was time to go anyway, so yeah.

i am delighted to hear that i’m whimsical

Sprites/spriggen are tricky. They like to play tricks, and pranks. They enjoy life and run around doing whatever they feel like.
