(Lol no worries! I’m still here!)
(you guys should keep going with the RP rn… i really love it…..)
Sarge was headed in the direction of the barn, and he and his two men accompanying him were too far ahead to even notice Azura and Farron.
"That confirms it, it really is Sarge," she said to Farron as they were walking. "Now all we need to figure out is the best way to get in the barn."
(Ooft, okay Winkle. Also I should let you know that I fly back to Australia at like… 5 am tomorrow so I won’t be around for like a day or so)
“They’re probably a back entrance or a window we could get through,” Farron said, rubbing his chin, “Or a sky light.”
(Okay cool)
"Alrighty then, we could try that. We need to find as many entrances and exits as we can before we actually go in." She took a dagger from her side. "Just in case," she explained.
“I didn’t need an explanation, but I know.” Farron replied, just as the barn came into view.
Azura took a deep breath and kept forcing her feet to slide forward. Eventually, she found herself looking for exits all around the barn: on the roof, in the basement, and through the back door. She saw a little trapdoor through a window, and figured that they must be hiding her in there.
Farron followed her line of sight to the trap door and raised his eyebrows and mouthed, "I won't be able to fit through that."
I think I will, she mouthed, and your mother will too.
They snuck off together until they were out of earshot of the barn.
"I think I can go in and get her, and you keep looking out for Sarge and his friends. Then we'll escape as soon as we can; no monkey business. Okay?"
Farron looked like he was about to protest but eventually just nodded, "But be quick. There might be people guarding her and we might not be able to escape if they notice too soon."
"Okay. And Farron-" she suddenly got gravely serious. "I will do all I can to bring her back. Even if that means I've got to do something stupid."
“Please try not to do anything stupid,” Farron replied, “I can’t lose two of you in one day if things go to hell.”
"I'll try," she smiled, and she gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. Then she headed off to the other side of the building.
Showtime, she thought.
Farron watched her leaving before a feeling of uneasiness settled in his stomach, "Please get out safe…" He murmured to himself.
Alright, so the back entrance over here leads through the trapdoor. Is it locked? Azura thought to herself. She jiggled the door handle a bit, then sighed. Yes. Okay, so how can I open the lock. . .
She looked around for something small to try to open the lock. A twig, a small piece of wire, anything!
On the inside of the building, Andra was tied to a chair and begin guarded by three large men. Her wrists were tied and she was fumbling to try and untie them.
Azura heard some muffled voices in the barn, so she held her ear up to the door to listen.
"It's no use, you can't get out," she heard a man's voice say.
"I can still try." Andra snarled, glaring a the guy who spoke.
The man laughed outright at this. "Sure, you do that." Azura then heard a door open and shut, so she ran over to a bush a few feet away, just in case the person came outside. After a few seconds, however, no one came out. She then kept looking for something to open the door.
"I will do that." She muttered, going back to fumbling with the restraints.
In the dirt, Azura found a small scrap piece of metal that she could pick the lock with. She grabbed it, then crept towards the door, and after a few moments of struggling, she was in. It took a while for her eyes to adjust to the darkness. She looked around to see if anyone else saw her, but the barn had been fashioned into a sort of sophisticated building with hallways, so no one was around.
The guards who were watching Andra had to switch for change over do the three of them headed out the room not too far from where Azura was. The next three hadn't arrived yet.
When she heard footsteps, Azura frantically looked around for something to hide behind. She saw a room with the door open a bit down the hall, and without a choice, she dashed towards it, praying that no one was in there. She shut the door silently behind her.
Andra stopped struggling when someone came in the room, "What the-"
(guys I'm dying from suspense!!!!!!)
(lol patience Joy!)
Azura turned to see a woman who looked much like Farron.
"Andra?" she whispered with a smile. Andra didn't reply for a while, so Azura kept talking.
"I'm a friend of Farron's, and we've come to rescue you. He's here, somewhere around the building."
