Andra's eyes widened a little, "F-Farron's here? And you two have come to get me out? Oh thank goodness," She smiled a little, "Thank-you."
Andra's eyes widened a little, "F-Farron's here? And you two have come to get me out? Oh thank goodness," She smiled a little, "Thank-you."
"No problem," Azura smiled wide. But their conversation was cut short by the voices of the same men in the hallway.
"Sarge said we're moving out today, cause that little kid said someone found out where the queen was. Pfft! As if someone would know where to find her; that kid just wanted to get paid."
"Azura…" She warned, motioning to the ropes.
Azura nodded, to show she understood, then she spoke, her words barely at a whisper.
"Stay quiet, and do whatever I tell you to do without hesitation. That's the only way we'll make it out."
She flipped her blade out and cut the ropes quickly, then they hid behind the door. They waited for it to open. Azura put her blade away and drew her sword instead.
The three guards came in a moment later, talking about something and not noticing the Queen was missing for a few moments until one did, "Hey! Where'd she go?"
"Oh, no, oh no no no," one of them said. Through the crack of the door near the hinges, Azura saw one of them run his hands through his hair.
"We have to tell Sarge, stat," one of them said, and made a beeline for the other side of the building. The other two followed his lead.
Andra released a breath slowly, running a hand through her hair, "We need to leave. Now."
“Patience,” Azura said, her mind somewhere else. She was trying to decide the best move. Unfortunately, she and Farron didnt day where they would meet up, so she had virtually no idea where he would be. That meant that she could go out of the barn, but she would risk being caught because farron might not be watching that area. But if she stayed inside for too long, and Sarge sent people to search the building, they could potentially be trapped.
"Azura, we're going to be stuck here and Sarge is going to send his best goons to come find me. WE have to leave."
"Okay," Azura had come to a solution. "This is what we're going to do. You see that window over there? I'll go down first, then you follow right behind me. Then you run. Run to town as fast as you can. I will go look for Farron, and we'll meet you at the gates. If Sarge beats us there, go to the tavern and hide."
Andra nodded, keeping her eyes on the door and watching for any more guards, "Got it. Now get moving, let's get out quick."
Azura wasted no time climbing out the window. She waited at the bottom for Andra, and when she got down, Azura pressed the charm they had found into her hand.
"This is yours," she said, then turned and ran off.
Andra looked at the charm before she tightened her grip and ran off towards the town. She hoped Azura would find her son quickly.
"Farron," Azura whisper-yelled as she looked around the barn. She was starting to get a bit worried. Where was he?
Farron was perched in a tree outside the barn and when he noticed Azura, he jumped down gracefully and followed her inside, "Azura."
"Farron! I didn't see you, I was scared for a minute," she breathed. "I found your mother," she said, then lowered her voice to a whisper, "I sent her back to town. We need to go."
Farron nodded and took her hand in his, "Let's go through the trees to the path, that way we can enter from the path and look like we just got there."
"So, the boy was right, eh?" they heard a deep voice from behind them just as they were about to run. "Someone did want to kidnap her. Remind me to raise his salary." Sarge stepped forward a bit, and drew his sword.
Farron growled, "You're the one who took her in the first place." He said, turning back around to Sarge.
"Ah, fair point I suppose," Sarge snarled back. "But all's fair in my game."
Azura drew her sword and pointed it towards the floor. Sarge saw her, then pointed to some men that came down the hallway.
"You three, the queen is in town, get her and return her to me."
“What do you want with her in the first place?” Farron glared daggers at him.
"You don't even know your mother, do you?" Sarge tilted his head. "That woman messed up the entire trade system in Pryvlyn. She is the reason we were almost discovered, when you were just a wee toddler. So this is to protect my country. She's done some bad things that you don't even know about, son. So I would suggest you stay out of my business. And of course," he added with a sly grin, "making a bit of money from this wouldn't hurt," he smiled.
Farron blinked once, twice and tilted his head to the side, "You're… You're from Pryvlyn?" He narrowed his eyes at him, his look more confused then angry.
