Nykidia arrived at Lyra's house at 8 to pick her up. She knocked on the door and bounced impatiently on her toes. She was wearing a men's dress shirt and pants. The shirt was a light purple while a deep purple striped vertically down the shirt. The pants and bow tie she was wearing was black as well as the dress shoes. She had the sleeves of the shirt rolled up to her elbows exposing the bandages of her wrists. She had straightened her hair but there was still one curl on the left side of her head that refused to be straight. But one thing Nykidia did not change from the bar was her black tie on cape the a hood. Other than that she looked like an entire different person.
"You sure about this, Nykidia?" Night asked. "Yeah, Why?" "I'm just not sure. I told you we should of checked her background." "No I'm not going to do that." "Why not? You do it with anyone else." "I feel like that's intruding." "And every other time you've done it was not." Night said crossing her arms. "But this time is different." She protested. "Fiiiiine" Night said rolling her eyes.

Lyra tossed some makeup onto her face with reckless abandon, smearing on some icy eyeshadow and bright blue lipstick. Paired with her flowing, floor length dress, teal hair, and blue makeup, she looked like a walking ocean. She rushed over to the door, holding a pair of bright blue stilettos. "Hey, Nykidia! Night!" She nodded to each of them, pulling on her shoes. "Ready to go?"

"Yep!" she said grabbing Lyra's arm and walking them to the limo. Nykidia opened the door to the limo for her to climb in. The inside of the limo the seats wear a light purple with the roof being a rotating picture of the stars. There was a minibar and a small slot machine.

Lyra gasped happily, rushing for the slot machine with a gleam in her eye. She pulled the lever excitedly groaning when she lost. "Dude, this limo is great! Is it really yours? Like, do you get to ride this all the time?"
"Not really" she said flipping her cape up as she got in. "I prefer a different mode of transportation." She said looking around "This is more of my bro's thing. He likes riding around in the limo."
Lyra shrugged. To each their own I guess. This limo is fucking great." She grabbed a little tequila out of the minibar, sipping at it with glee. "You don't seem very glitzy though. This isn't the life for you, is it?"

"I enjoy the work part but I am not such a fan of the girly stuff." She said. "I enjoy different type of stuff."

Lyra shrugged. "I feel that man. Dresses are fucking rad though. Do you like mine? It was all I could find in my closet." She smoothed her skirt with a shyer smile, silently begging for approval.

"It's adorable," she said. "I just don't like the feeling of it being so loose and flowy. Plus I like dressing up like this. I like the colors and style." she said looking at Lyra's clothes and back at hers. "I haven't worn a dress in years."
(I have a lot of stuff tomorrow, so I'm going to go silent for today. Goodnight!)

"So…. you've never been in a limo before?" Nykidia asked looking slightly surprised. "Never? Not even once? I though someone like you would of. Sorry if I'm reading a book by it's cover but you like like the person to do this stuff a lot."
Lyra grinned, smile weighed down with bitterness. "Yeah, well, I haven't always been my happy-dappy self, you know. I've changed a lot in the past few years. You're not completely off, though. I do love myself a good day at the casino." She'd been to more casinos than she could count. Actually, she used to go every day. Developed a bit of a gambling addiction, now that she thought about it.
"Oh well then I hope you will have fun," she said as the limo stopped. Nykidia got out and held the door open for Lyra. The casino didn't look very big on the outside. It even looked a little run down with it's tan walls and dark wooden beams. The front read Red Rose and a sign on the door said Closed.
"So, What do you think?" Nykidia asked. "Is it nice?"
"It's wonderful!" Lyra grabbed Nykidia's hand and yanked her to the door. She didn't know if it was locked and alarmed or what, but she wasn't going to risk opening it and calling the police. "IS there a bar? Can we get drinks together?"
The Casino opened up to almost 10 times bigger in the inside. The Ceiling was a Deep purple and the carpet a grey. There was so many tables and the inside was all lit up. A huge sign greeted all the new guests read 'The Black Rose'. There was a huge circle bar in the middle of the room. On each of the side of the room there were a set of curved stairs that lead up to a second floor that looked like a rooms to sleep in for people who stay for a while. "Was this what you were expecting?" Nykidia said looking across the casino, proudly.
Lyra gasped happily, rushing inside to stare hungrily at all the goodies. "This is like 30 times better! I can't even believe this place is real!" She spotted a bar and hopped behind it, grabbing a boddle of vodka with a grin. There was fun to be had here. "What can we do?"
"Gamble, Drink, Smoke. Mess around with people. Whatever you want to do, Lyra." Nykidia said smiling.
Lyra brandished the bottle of vodka with a grin. "Got the drinking covered. Let's gamble. I brought some money if you don't have any." She popped the bottle open with her hands and chugged for a couple seconds, passing it over to Nykidia with a grin.
Nykidia put her hand up. "Like I said, I don't drink. Or gamble but I will gladly watch you." She said with a smile.
