Cammy let the bayard return to it's original form, waving dismissively. "Whatever, man. You've managed to bore me already." With that, she grabbed her bag, slipping out into the hall.

Alex didn’t respond. Did he care? No. Maybe? He didn’t think about it and pushed his thoughts aside. He took out all his anger and frustrations on the drones and there was a lot of it, too.
Exploration. That ought to take Cammy's mind off things, right? Well, in theory, it was a good idea. Right up until she managed to get lost. Alone in a large and unfamiliar place, she was beginning to feel just a bit overwhelmed.
Alex felt… slightly better when he finally finished training. He stepped out of the training room and walked in some random direction, hoping it would lead him back to the bridge eventually.
Cammy had a habit of ignoring things and letting them build up, that was for sure. And she was very much hoping she at least managed to make it until she was alone, preferably at night. That didn't seem like it was going to happen though, as she wrapped her arms tightly around herself and continued her search of somewhere familiar. Every hall looks the same. Why do they all look the same?
As Alex rounded the next corner, he ran into Cammy. Not expecting it, he stumbled back a step and apologized, not realising who exactly he'd run into.
((Sksksks it says I need to request access?))
Cammy's smile was an instant response, usually he best way to deflect questions and concern, although it seemed incredibly forced. "Not your fault." Her voice cracked on the word fault as she looked over, blinking at the sight of Alex.
(Try now)
Alex frowned, sighing an then rubbing at his temples, "I though I ran into someone deserving of an apology but it's just you."
((Sksksk HOLY SHIT))
"Great, just great." Cammy muttered, not even bothering with a response as she pushed past him, tugging a hand through her hair. Something in her chest tightened, and she was slowly losing the ability to breathe properly.
(Hehe)
Now, Alex disliked Cammy, yes but he could sense something was wrong. He wasn’t a bad person so he turned back around, head tilted, “Hey, you okay?”
"Fine. Fine, just fine, of course, why d'you ask?" Cammy said, a bit too quick and rushed as she paused. She looked side to side, dragging her hand once more through her hair.
“You’re not fine,” Alex replied, quickly walking towards her and gently turning her around so he could look her in the eye, “What’s wrong?”
Cammy shook her head, squeezing her eyes shut and opening her mouth to continue denying it, before she paused. "Lost. I'm-I'm lost. And-there are bunch of other things that don't matter, but I'm really lost."
“Lost as in physically, or lost as in mentally?” Alex asked gently, “And those other things do matter.”
"Both." Cammy huffed a wry laugh, shaking her head. "But it's the physical part I'm focusing on. And-look, you don't have to pretend, it's fine."

(Poor Cammy :( Also sorry for being kinda slow, I have NAPLAN testing all week)
“Who said I was pretending? I might not like you very much but that doesn’t mean I’m a terrible bloke in general,” Alex sighed, runnng a hand through his hair, “Come on, the way out is this way.” He jerked his head a little and set off the way he came.
"I've been down this hall numerous times." Cammy muttered, managing to fend off the impending panic attack. It was easier, when there were others around, to pretend. "And gee, thanks. 'Cause that sure eases those thoughts. Whatever."
Alex sighed once again, knowing he was probably going to be doing a lot of that these days, “Yeah… whatever…” He mumbled.
Cammy began to visibly relax as they entered halls she recognized, her painfully fake smile slipping away to a more neutral look. "I-thanks. I guess. For helping me out."
Alex shrugged a shoulder, “It’s fine. Don’t worry about it.” He rubbed at the back of his neck.
"Probably never would've gotten out of that damn maze of halls." Cammy grumbled, staying just a step behind Alex and at his side.
"We'll be here for a while so I guess you'll get used to them," Alex replied quietly.
"I hope so." Cammy said, shoulders slumping at the mention of how long they'd be there. What were the people back on Earth thinking had happened to them?
