Alex nodded, slipping his helmet over his head, "Yeah, I see it," He walked towards the airlock, "Tell me when."
Alex nodded, slipping his helmet over his head, "Yeah, I see it," He walked towards the airlock, "Tell me when."
"Brace yourself." Was the only warning Cammy gave, before she gunned it, heading straight towards the ship. "And….now!"

(Nope. Nope not okay. Nononononono)
As soon as Cammy gave the order, Alex was shooting towards the ship. It didn't take long to get there and get in. He pulled out his dagger, one that had a similar marking to some on the Galra ship and took out the purple alien flying the ship. It almost felt like second nature and Alex didn't question how he knew but button to click to open a call line to Blue and Cammy or flying the small pod, "Cammy? Can you hear me?"
((That's the second time I've read it and it still makes me cry. I can't help but picture Cammy or Alex in place of these whenever I see them though, angst or no))
"Yoooo, what the fuck man?" Cammy blinked a few times, looking around the cockpit as though he was there with her. "You're in, I'm guessin'. How-?"
(Oof, I don't wanna think of our children like that, it's painful)
"I opened up a secure channel from the pod to you," Alex replied like it was obvious as he headed towards the main ship.
((I can't hELP IT BUT IT MAKES ME CRYYYY))
"Oh, yeah, sure. Makes total sense." Cammy, well aware he couldn't see her, nodded before making a face. "I can't wait to blow this ship up."

Alex sighed softly with a small shake of his head, "Me too." It didn't take long to get to the ship and soon, Alex was pulling into the docking bay.

So while I was drawing this I couldn’t figure out what colour to paint Cammy’s nails and then I came up with a scenario. So when Alex goes off with the Blade the two like each other but never established their relationship before he left. Cammy misses him and paints her nails red after him. When he gets back he teases her a little and then notices the nails a little while after and paints his blue when she gets embarrassed about it…)
((How dare you make me feel human emotions. You know, she'd totally send him with some sort of memento to 'remember' her by. Also the ART OH MY GOD THATS SO GOOD???))
"You see anything cool?" Cammy asked, slouching in the seat as she scanned the large ship. Now, she was mostly alone with her thoughts, and desperately trying to push them away.
(Tank-youuu! I'm still getting my bearing for digital art so it could be better and yeah, she probably would)
"Apart from a bunch of purple furies? Nothing cool yet." Alex replied. The place had a odd sense of familiarity that Alex tried to ignore. He concentrated on trying to find Red which was provinger harder then he thought.
"Y'know, I knew a furry back in high school." Cammy mused, glad for the distraction. "Sweet guy, but he was weird. I guess that goes with the territory though."
"There was a guy at my high school who role played as a furry online for a while," Alex chuckled quietly, "He stopped though… he was a cool guy."
"He role played as a furry?" Cammy's eyes widened, laughter bubbling past her lips. "How does that even work? Do you just pretend you're a furry?"
(Fun fact, this is 100% true)
"Apparently it was a website where you could pretend to be one. He told me that once a straight furry tried to seduce him and then walked away saying 'No homo,'" Alex grinned, glad Cammy couldn't see it, "He left after that."
"That's not any less confusing, but even more hilarious." Cammy snickered, shaking her head. "You found anything yet?"
Alex sighed, the grin fading into a frown, "No, not yet. Every hall looks the same…"
Cammy was quiet for a moment, before speaking up again. "Have you checked the cargo hold? There's gotta be one, right? Or maybe a launch-bay."
Alex chewed on the bottom of his lip, "Now the problem is finding the actual cargo hold…"
"Go down. My guess is it'll be somewhere to the North, too. That's the usual set-up. Then again, these are aliens…" Cammy trailed off, tugging a hand through her hair.
Alex nodded even though Cammy couldn't see, "Yeah." He set off down the hall, guessing which way to go more then anything. Again, the sense familiarity came back like a tidal wave and Alex stopped guessing. It didn't take long after that, for him to find Red, "Cammy… I've found him."
"What?" Cammy sat up, eyes widening. "You did? What's he look like? Can you feel the same bond? Are you in yet? Is he like the hologram?"
"One question at a time," Alex hissed, walking up to the barrier around the lion, "Yes, be looks like the hologram, yes, I can feel the bond… no, I'm not in yet…"
"Well, hurry." Cammy said, eyeing the port on the ship. "There's a ship a bit too big to be cargo comin' your way."
Alex ignored Cammy and focused back on Red, "Come on Red, buddy, open up," Nothing. Alex frowned and knocked on the barrier, "Seriously, open the fuck up." A whizzing noise made Alex turn around and the red paladin was face to face with three guards, "Of fucking course."
