"Shit, d'you need me in there?" Cammy was already half way out of her seat, bayard at the ready. "What's the sitch?"
"Shit, d'you need me in there?" Cammy was already half way out of her seat, bayard at the ready. "What's the sitch?"
"You did not just quote Kim Possible," Alex muttered, his own bayard at the ready, "Stay in Blue, we can't risk the Galra taking her."
The guards spoken to each other quickly and Alex frowned when he caught, and understood, some of the words. He didn't have time to question it, though as one of the guards attacked.
"You're the one who recognized the quote." Cammy raked a hand through her hair, slowly sitting back down. Her knee bounced anxiously as she kept her eyes on her surroundings. "Just-let me know if you need an escape."
Alex grunted in response, more focused on not dying then forming a worded reply. The first galra was easy to take down, clearly the most inexperienced. The second and third were harder, tag teaming. Alex received a small cut to the cheek and a bigger on to his side but managed to get rid of the other two. He turned to Red, surprised to see the barrier was gone, "Thank fuck."
"Good, you're alive." Cammy, though surprisingly relieved, wouldn't let it show. "Can't form a weapon of ultimate power without one of the parts."
"You could have found another paladin," Alex muttered, stepping into Red and quickly taking up the pilot's seat.
"You're the one Allura chose though." Cammy said, kicking her legs up over the arm of the pilot's seat in Blue. "I'm guessing it'd be kinda hard to just 'find another paladin'."
Alex shrugged, starting up Red and flying out of the Galran ship, "Well she'd have to. And I'm easily replaceable anyway."

Cammy chuckled wryly, shaking her head. "That's the biggest lie I've ever heard. You ready to blow this fucker up?"

Alex blinked and shook away some other thoughts before he nodded, cracking the tiniest smirk, "You bet I am."
((I found a really sad one I'd forgotten about based off the song Hold On and aaaAaaaaaaAaaAAAA))
"Now, how to go about doing that." Cammy muttered, closing her eyes for a split second. "Got it! Let's fuck shit up!" She exclaimed, plugging her bayard into a port that opened up.

Alex turned Red towards Blue, the lion's head tilting in slight confusion, much like Alex when a port of his own opened up, "Dude…" He muttered, placing his ow bayard in the opening.
Cammy just laughed, the sound a tad bit wild as a fleet of small Galra attack ships caught notice of them and began firing. "You ready, Red?"
“Of course I am, Blue. Lets give them one hell of a show.” Alex smirked, veering off from Blue to get a better shot at the ships.
Cammy snorted, what could only be called an ice beam catching a handfull of the ships before they could reach them. "Ah, the one thing I'm good at."
Alex huffed a small laugh, dodging a beam and ramming into the side of one of the ships.
Cammy, whilst humming Hot and Cold, fired off another ice blast, before crashing head-first into the hunk of ice containing ships.
“You humming is really off putting Cammy.” Alex muttered, very nearly being hit by one of the ships before he grabbed it in the lions jaws and flung it at another.
"That sounds like a you problem." Cammy shot back. She ceased her humming though, nodding her head along to the song in her head instead.
Alex rolled his eyes though Cammy couldn’t see. There weren’t many ships left for the two to destroy, luckily.
"You wanna see if we can get that big one out too?" Cammy asked, once they'd managed to get all the others. The occasional small gun blast came from the landing bay, as though the Galra were exhausting any and all efforts.
“We’d be decimated,” Alex rubbed at his jaw, “We need the rest of the guys here if we were going to try. It’s easier to take out smaller ships when it’s just two of us but we wouldn’t be able to get close to the big one.”
"That sounds like quitter talk." Cammy said, tapping her hands on the joysticks(?) of the controls. He was probably right, but that didn't mean she cared all that much. Not about herself, at least.
“No, it’s strategic talk,” Alex replied, “Lets go back to the castle, the others will be back by now.” He sighed softly, glancing from the main ship to Blue.
Cammy's grip tightened as she fell quiet, before suddenly pulling back, turning towards the castle. Make it back home. Try, at least.
