"Suspicious." Cammy said, tilting her head as her hand closed around her pack of cigarettes. Exhaling an obviously relieved sigh, she pulled them out, withdrawing one from the pack and lighting it.
"Suspicious." Cammy said, tilting her head as her hand closed around her pack of cigarettes. Exhaling an obviously relieved sigh, she pulled them out, withdrawing one from the pack and lighting it.
Alex’s nose scrunched up in distaste, body tensing the slightest bit. He was uncomfortable, but didn’t ask Cammy to put out the cigarette. She probably wouldn’t anyway.
"Oh thank god." Cammy, oddly enough, only took a few drags, enough to satisfy the craving, before going to stub the cigarette out on her hand through habit, instead having to make do with her suit. She had to make them last, because she wasn't sure if anywhere in space had them.
Alex visibly relaxed when Cammy put the cigarette out. Again, he didn’t say anything about it, not wanting Cammy to ask questions that would get way too personal for his liking.
"If you've got a problem with me smoking, just mention it." Cammy said as she tucked the cigarette in her bag. She didn't look up at him, rummaging around for something different now. "I'm not that much of a bitch. I can save it for when I'm not around you."
“Wow, I never knew the bitch could hold back her bite,” Alex rolled his eyes, though he was grateful on the inside, “But that would be lovely, I’d rather not get lung cancer.”
"Anything for you, drama queen~" Cammy cooed, blowing him a kiss as she pulled out a small hairbrush. The insult swapping was familiar, but she almost, almost, missed the getting along.
Alex forced a smile over his shoulder before he looked away. He had never understood why Cammy had felt the need to start the rivalry between them and he’d never understood it. But he went along with it anyway if it meant he had a chance to deflate her ever growing ego.
"Helmet hair is the worst." Cammy muttered to herself as they entered the bridge(I think that's what it's called…), struggling to get a knot out of her hair. Luckily, her roots hadn't started to show through the bright pink, giving her a bit more time before she need the touch up.
Allura turned to the two as they entered , a questioning look on her face at Alex’s frown, “I take it the mission is successful?”
"Hells yeah." Cammy said, perking up at the mention. "It was so cool! Alex beat the shit out of these Galra that jumped him, and then he got into the red lion, and we ended up in a showdown with all these small fighter ships, and kicked ass." She rambled, the sort of compliment at the beginning completely slipping past her filter.
Allura chuckled softly, “Well, congratulations. The others aren’t back yet and you seemed to have stalled that Galra ship.”
Cammy practically beamed, looking incredibly happy with the simple praise. "Hopefully long enough for the others to get back,, so we can take it out all the way."
(Awww, pretty sure Alex has a soft spot for blue ;) )
Allura nodded and bummed her agreement, “Hopefully. Why don’t you two to train while we wait? That way you won’t be bored.”
Cammy tilted her head, raising an eyebrow. "Train? You got a space for that?" She wasn't too big on the idea, but it might take her mind of the nicotine craving.
“Of course!” Allura beamed, “It’s not too far down from the healing pods. It’s a huge door, you’ll be able to find it. Just say start training sequence and-“ Alex was out the door before she even had a chance to finish. Allura sighed a little, “You better go after him.”
(Have another crappy Calex drawing I prefer the other one as it’s more realistic aka, my style… https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Q5XlmYELeuMy3yMwta-YVhicOHN7N6Hu/view?usp=drivesdk)
((Aaaawwww.))
"Yeah, yeah." Cammy sighed, tucking her hairbrush away as she made to follow him. "Call us if something happens!" She called over her shoulder, halfway out the door as she pulled her hair up.
((I may or may not have written something based off of these two last night….))

The training room wasn't that hard to find, luckily and Alex had ran the entire way there. By the time Cammy got there, he was already attacking two bots, his sword easily deflecting and attacking.
((AaaAaAaaA https://docs.google.com/document/d/1wk0-3HMk95HoVy2pMzCtYksxRMZRbcIncUmbts_qbJs/edit?usp=sharing It's no good I'm sooooorrryyyy))
Cammy didn't dive straight into it, setting her bag by the door as she looked around. After a few moments, her eyes landed on Alex, tilting her head as she watched him spar.
(No that’s good! I love it!)
It was clear that Alex had fought hand to hand before. He was swift and agile, not even noticing Cammy as he got rid of any pent up anger and emotions. He defeated the bots easily and soon he was at it again, attacking the others that had risen.
Huh. Who'd a thunk it. After a few more moments, Cammy activated her bayard, allowing it to switch to the blaster. When it came to weapons, and even in general, she was better from a difference. That was made obvious as she easily and neatly took out a drone. Playing so many arcade games with her brother might've had it's benefits.
((Eeehhhh….I'm glad you like it though!))
Alex looked over his shoulder, panting and scowling at Cammy, “I had that. Wait your turn next time.” He growled before ripping his sword out of a drone.
"I've got energy to burn off, and you're hogging the gimnasio." Cammy shot back seemingly unaware of the way she completely forgot the English words for training room, settling with fitness center.
“I got here first, I train first.” Alex said as he decapitated a drone with one easy swing. It was clear he was angry and he didn’t care that he was taking it out on Cammy.
