He shrugged. "Neither am I."
He shrugged. "Neither am I."
"Hm." She went back to picking up the pictures. "I'll just say I'm feeding off your energy like a vampire." She flashed him a grin.
He snorted, rubbing his nose. "I wouldn't go that far."
"Ah, but it's a fun theory." She finished and sat back on the bed, stretching and flopping on her back.
He stretched his arms out to her. "C'meeeeeere."
She rolled her eyes. "You're such a baby." But did as he asked with no further complaint.
"Would you rather me not want to be around you?" he asked.
"No." She snuggled against him, sighing in contentment.
"That's what I thought," he said smuggly.
She licked him in a petty form of revenge.
"Weirdo." he responded.
She had no comeback to that, so she licked him again.
"Just proving the point here."
"I'll have you know that there are people who like it, and it's an effective way to fend off attackers."
"I neither like it or am attacking you," he pointed out.
"You're verbally attacking me."
"Making statements is not an attack."
She pouted, knowing she wasn't winning this one. "Damn you," she muttered.
"I gotta win sometimes," he said with a smile.
She made a noise but didn't deign to reply. She rested her head on his chest and laid a hand over his stomach, then wrapped a leg around his–getting comfy.
"Cozy yet?" he asked, draping an arm around her shoulder.
"Yup." She yawned, her eyes drooping. She was never really this tired, but Runner was comfy and comfy made her sleepy.
"Good. Better use my chub while you can, for it'll be gone very soon." He lightly kissed the top of her head.
"Shuddup," she mumbled. "You can't get rid of comfiness in a person. You, my good sir, are a very comfy person. A little extra muscle won't do much to change that."
"No," he mused. "I come back and it'll be like hugging a rock."
