Runner groaned as he finally stepped out of his shoes inside of the beach house, limping over to the couch and sprawling out on it without taking his fancy suit off. "How'd you get the couch clean?"
Runner groaned as he finally stepped out of his shoes inside of the beach house, limping over to the couch and sprawling out on it without taking his fancy suit off. "How'd you get the couch clean?"
Tessa kicked her shoes off, flinging them across the living room without any sort of rime or reason. "I bought a new one, and Koral cleaned the roof."
"Well that was nice of them." He reached his arms out towards her. "C'mere."
"Why? I want to rid myself of this heavy dress." She raised a brow. "Unless you want to help me…?" She had to fight to hide her smile.
He blushed slightly, looking away from her. "Uh…"
She smirked, "Thought so. I'll be back in a bit," and winked. "Don't miss me too much."
"Too late," he called after her as she walked up the stairs.
(Okay, I'm actually getting my shower now.)
(Okay)
(I'm back)
(Sicc)
She went to her room, fighting with the dress to get it off. Why did I wear such a stubborn dress? She finally got it off, standing in her undergarments for some time, savoring the freeing feeling of having the damned thing off. Then she scooped up an oversized tee shirt and short pajama shorts, tossing them on before heading back downstairs.
Runner was still in his suit, sprawled out over the couch. "I don't think I've ever sang that much in one day."
Tess kneeled on the floor next to the couch, putting her arms on the couch by Runner and resting her chin on them. "I'd say you did quite well."
"I feel like never screaming again." He turned to her. "Want me to scoot over?"
"I'm fine here." She tilted her head as a thought popped up in her mind. "How about a game? To get to know each other?"
"What do you have in mind?"
"Two truths and a lie."
He shrugged. "I'm chill with that."
"I'll start." She sat back cross-legged. "Hmm, okay. Bees hate me, I've never been in a serious relationship before the age of sixteen, and I've broken my arm before."
He thought about if for a moment. "I don't think you got beef with bees."
She laughed. "Nope, it's true. They hate heat, so they stay away from me."
"Gimme your definition of a serious relationship." He stared up at the ceiling, smiling.
"Not a quick one night stand for the sake of robbing them."
"You haven't broken your arm, I don't think."
