"15……I think I was in a Panama jail." He snapped his finger. "Damn that would've been a good truth."
"15……I think I was in a Panama jail." He snapped his finger. "Damn that would've been a good truth."
She chuckled, diverting her attention from her failed relationship. "Okay, your turn."
"Hm….I worked at Chick-fil-a for a week, I helped deliver a baby, and I got a kiss from the daughter of a drug cartel leader's daughter."
She tilted her head. It was either the baby or the kiss. "I don't think you helped deliver a baby. You'd be too embarrassed."
"I never saw anything. I stood beside her and let her squeeze the life out of my 12 year old hand while the father and the doctor worked under a blanket." He glanced over at her.
"Hmm. Then the kiss is the lie." Or maybe I'm wrong and it's just wishful thinking…
"Who's baby do you think I helped deliver? It was the weird air kiss when they barely graze your cheek. Got one from the father, too. Didn't understand a word they said, so I just nodded and said, 'Si, si.'" he said with a laugh.
"Oh." she laughed. "I guess we're both bad at this."
"I got fired 3 days after getting hired. I burnt everything I touched."
She held up a hand for a high-five. "Hell yeah!"
He reached up and gave her a high five with a laugh.
"Okay, my turn." She thought about it. "My step father's in the government, I don't know how to drive a car, and I've never had a legit job."
(I'm going out to eat, so expect me to be on and off)
"I don't think you know how to drive a car."
"Nope, I don't."
"Haha!" he sat up, fist-pumping.
She raised a brow. "I never said I could."
"No, I'm happy I got one right."
(He's such a fucking nerd)
She smiled. "That was an easy one. But what's the lie?"
(Lmao)
"Your step-dad in the government."
"Incorrect." She smiled, knowing he would never think she ever had a real job.
"Okay, then what is this official job?"
"I worked at a McDonalds for about 2 months. They were very generous towards the local street rats."
"Hm. Okay." He laid back down. "It's hard to find now things. I've told you basically everything about me already."
"Same. There are a few random things about me that you don't know, but not much that I can think of."
"Well, it was a valiant effort." He resumed his staring of the ceiling.
"You know what?" he asked, rolling onto his side to look at her.
"What?" She went back to leaning against the couch.
