She stopped and chuckled. "We should head to bed. It's late."
She stopped and chuckled. "We should head to bed. It's late."
"You mean I should? Since apparently you don't sleep." He broke away from her grudgingly, looking down at his clothes.
"I'm mentally exhausted," she sighed. "And I don't really want to leave your side just yet."
He smiled at her for a moment, then turned his attention back on his clothing. "Think your brother has a change for me?"
"I went shopping in New York and got you some clothes until you can pick out your own. They're in your room."
"Well, what are we waiting for?" He began to loosen the tie as he walked to the stairs, finally getting it off after pausing at the foot of the staircase for a moment.
She followed and raised a brow when he stopped.
"A admirable fight," he said, tossing the tie aside and making his way up the stairs.
She chuckled. "You change, I'll wait out here."
"No peaking," he said with a playful wink, shutting the door.
"No promises!" she called through the door, laughing wickedly. While she waited, she poked her head through Zeus's door. He was sleeping soundly at his desk, surrounded by his school work. She snickered. "Poor baby," she whispered to herself.
Runner frowned as he took the jacket off, having to bend his shoulders at uncomfortable angles. It was just a tad too small, he realized. As he unbuttoned the shirt, he sorted through the closet, looking for something to sleep in.
Tessa walked back and forth, waiting for Runner. Damn, I'm really clingy. I should work on that.
He eventually settled in on a white T-shirt and a pair of basketball shorts. "Alright, It's safe now," he said as he was pulling his head through the correct hole.
She waited for a few seconds to not seem too eager, then entered. "I'm coming in," she announced helpfully as she strolled in.
He had his back to her, shoving his right arm through its sleeve.
She smirked and crept up to him, then spider-crawled her fingers up his spine.
He arched his back and scooting out of her arm's reach, shivering. "Whyyyyyyyyy," he whined, turning around.
She smothered her laugh to not disturb Zeus. "You're reaction is way too entertaining not to."
"I'm happy you derive joy from my discomfort," he said, smiling slightly despite himself.
She flashed a grin. "Good."
With an exaggerated sigh, he plopped down onto the bed, slipping his legs under the covers.
She raised a brow as she approached the bed. "No beckons this time?"
He looked up at her. "Do I really need to at this point?"
Tessa smiled. "I suppose not." Then she sat on the bed, shooing him over so she had more room.
