The town was established by Link as part of Hyrule's rebuilding efforts after the fall of Calamity Ganon. Zelda decided that having a town in the area would be a good way to mantain the area and sent Link to lead the building efforts. Since then, the small town has become a hub of tourism, travel, and exchange of goods between Central Hyrule and Faron.
