Parts five and six take place after the fall of Nightmare Moon and are recorded here. Additionally, prologues and endings for the previous novels appear here as well.
Story timelines are titled respectively. Any events left blank do not visually or verbally take place within the TV show or novels. [END] refers to the end of a specific timeline. The beginning is mostly events from the TV show and some from the movie. There are little events from the novels sprinkled in, but the rest takes place later. -P and -E refer to the prologues and endings of the previous novels. These usually feature Flurry Heart and take place in present time.

After entering the den of an Ursa Minor, young Tempest has her horn clawed off and just barely makes it out alive.
Dahliah leaves her home
Realizing that more young ponies are leaving the dwindling community to find their fortunes, Dahliah makes the decision to leave as well.
Tempest flees
Her neighbors are scared of her broken horn and unstable magic, so Tempest leaves her hometown and sets out on her own.

Nightmare Moon returns, and is defeated by the Mane Six
Discord breaks free and is defeated
