Founding Story
- How was Tartarus founded?
The first mention of Tartarus in recorded history is after Tirek's failed attempt at domination. However, this place existed well before he and his brother Scorpan visited Equestria.
After Grogar was overthrown, the inhabitants of pre-Equestria were left with his creations running amok with no master. So Tartarus was built to house these monsters, in the hopes of reforming them.
