Session 0: Troll in the Tavern

After proving themselves in a bar fight, four unlikely allies were hired by Volothamp Geddarm to search for his friend Floon Blagmaar , who'd gone missing the night before. Then a troll came out of the Yawning Portal and Durnan beat the shit out of it.

• Smoke on the Water, Nef Artemel, Esmerelda Amethyst, and Thernek Clockmort were all regulars at The Yawning Portal, so they just happened to be present for the night's events.




• It's unknown what sparked the fight between Crentz and Yagra Stonefist.




• Durnan has been running the Portal for as long as anyone can remember.




• Volothamp Geddarm and Floon Blagmaar had been out drinking and gambling at The Skewered Dragon the night before. Floon hadn't returned, however, prompting Volo to seek help finding him.
