Moonlight is average height. She's slim with strong, long legs. She has a sleek look, with wave-like scale patterns along her body.

Moonlight is loud, funny, and goofy. She has a very unique sense of humor and enjoys making herself laugh.

Moonlight is motivated by her desire to not be bored. She does almost everything out of a desire for adventure and a loathing of having nothing to do.

She is easily offended and tends to hold grudges. She often judges people too fast and is very concerned with being "cool" and "likable".

Moonlight is generally optimistic and loves to laugh. She's funny and likes to goof off. Her moods can fluctuate pretty quickly though, and she has the potential to get grumpy quickly. She is an extrovert and gets upset if she has no social event to look forward to.

Moonlight is a citizen of the Sand Kingdom and lives at the palace.

Moonlight only attended 3 years of school at her NightWing public school, before she moved to the Jade Mountain territory. There she joined a new school and completed her education.

Moonlight was born under two full moons, giving her mind-reading abilities. Her existence was hidden from her own father due to the fact that her mother (Smoketail) was trying to escape her toxic relationship and didn't want her boyfriend to know they'd had a daughter together. Their breakup didn't go well, however, as the psychopathic Phoenix attempted to murder Smoketail after she dumped him. The two fought and died on a clifftop, and little Moonlight was orphaned. After the death of her parents, she soon met Shadow, who cared for her like a big brother. She later moved to the Jade Mountain territory with him. After meeting Earthquake and the start of the Great War, Moonlight moved to the Rainforest and fought in the Sea Palace attack. She was the main spy after being washed up into the actual palace following a bad storm, and provided the RainWings with all the information they needed to attack well. While there, Moonlight got herself badly injured in a fire and was unable to fight in the IceWing battle. She joined back in for the SkyWing attack though, and now lives in the Sand Kingdom with her new family.

Moonlight loves birds. She likes to look at them, listen to them, memorize them, and talk about them. She knows how to draw every species in both the Sand Kingdom and Jade Mountain Territory, and she's trying to learn all the others as well.
