A beautiful deep bronze-gold that shines in the light
Her hair is long and grows past her knees. It has gentle waves. She normally wears it in intricate braid and buns in order to keep it from getting tangled.
Bright blue with hints of green
Fae
She is fair-skinned, but she has a permanent tan. It always looks like she spends a lot of time in the sun. Her skin is smooth and has a healthy look to it.
She is slim but not scrawny. She has graceful curves and not much physical strength.
Her eyelashes and eyebrows are much darker than her hair. Her eyebrows are high and delicate and her eyelashes are long. She has a birthmark that resembles the antler of a deer on her outer thigh.
Her wings are semi-transparent with a slight blue/white tinge. They are butterfly-esque in shape, but very long and thin. The end of the bottom portion of her wings is long, thin, and slightly curved
Halia has trained herself to be very elegant and poised. As a young fae, she was very clumsy. However, once she became heir to her father's position, she put great effort into becoming more lady-like. She has very good posture and sits perfectly still. When she is thinking hard, or she is irritated, she purses her lips. Halia comes across as calm and collected whenever she is speaking to someone. She always looks them in the eyes, but not in a threatening way. It's more authoritative. Her composure only breaks when she is completely alone or when she is very distressed.
She wants to prove to her father that she will be as good of an heir as Srivani would have been. She also wants to make Srivani, who she believes to be dead, proud.
Despite being her father's heir, Halia has never left the estate, even to travel with her father. As a result, she has no idea how common fae and sprites live normally. She does know that she is fortunate compared to others, but she doesn't really grasp how fortunate she is. She is also ignorant in the ways of her mother's people. She could have learned, but she is determined to remain ignorant about them because she hates her mother for leaving her and hates the tribes for 'killing' Srivani. Additionally, Halia tends to put too much pressure on herself, often at the cost of her health. She is constantly tired and stressed from trying to live up to her, and her father's, expectations.
Like most fae, Halia views sprites as nothing more than animals and treats them accordingly. She also views the native Levians as lower fae that are not as civilized as Consectan fae.
Halia is very musically inclined. She has yet to meet an instrument she doesn't like to play, although her favorite is the harp. Additionally, she is good at public speaking. She can captivate a crowd and convince them to do almost anything. However, she doesn't like it and will do her best to avoid it.
Halia's favorite past-time is playing the harp. She finds it relaxing after a stressful day. She has been playing for so long that even complicated pieces come easily to her. She has never played in an orchestra, nor performed. Playing the harp is a piece of her life that she wants to keep to herself, to retain some small amount of privacy. Halia also loves horses and has a beautiful grey mare of her own. She finds something freeing in riding her horse around her estate, even if she can't leave it. Any hobbies she has give her some privacy or freedom outside of her experiences as being her father's heir.
Despite being almost constantly 'on display', Halia is a very private person. She has no one she feels comfortable confiding in, mostly because she feels as though she needs to be perfect and telling someone about her personal worries and emotions would mean that she isn't. However, she often finds herself talking to her pet bluebird, Palila. She likes that Palila never judges her and has always been a loyal friend. Halia only talks to Palila in private, but the bird goes everywhere with her and Halia takes comfort in her presence.
Halia has very few moments to herself, but those she does she spends playing her harp or riding her horse, Azenor. She finds recovery in those activities and uses the reward of a long ride or playing session to get her through hard days. There is a calm and relaxed aura around her when she does those things that she rarely has when going throughout her day.
Even though she is an introvert, Halia is very good with other people. She has a way of convincing people about her argument that would make her a very strong leader. However, she lacks confidence in herself. She never shows this, but she has a feeling in her core that she is not enough; that Srivani would have done better as her father's heir. While Halia continually fails to live up to her own expectations, she never stops trying.
Halia loves her younger sisters and tries hard to be a supportive and present older sister. However, she finds her responsibilities drawing her away from her sisters, and starts to realize that she doesn't really know them anymore.
Talisman Magic: Halia was blessed with the Talisman of Summer at birth by the Lord of the Wild. This means that she can perform her talisman magic without a talisman, however she can only do magic that pertains to Summer.
Natural Ability: Halia has the ability to sense what others in her proximity are feeling emotionally. If she makes skin to skin contact with them, usually through her hands, she can also manipulate their emotions to some extent.
The summer solstice, sometime in June
Halia has been educated primarily as the heir to her father's title and estate. Her education as the Heredem Aestas has come second for as long as she can remember. Her education has included the basics, such as reading, writing, and arithmetic, as well as lessons in things befitting a 'lady' like dancing, music, and etiquette. A large portion of her education has been focused on diplomatics and ruling, as she is her father's successor and will have control of his region Leve. That is, if her father has his way. According to the tribes, Halia is destined to live on a small island with the rulers of the other seasons and oversee the well being of the land. Halia has also decided to put her position as her father's heir above that of being the Heredem Aestas and focuses on pleasing him. However, she recognizes that the education she has had could prove useful is she were to become the Queen of Summer.
Halia was born the second daughter in the most prominent Consectan family in Leve. Shortly after her birth, the Lord of the Wild came to her and blessed her with the powers of Summer. Her older sister, Srivani, truly has the powers of Winter, but Halia believes her to be dead and that her younger sister, Seri, is the Heir to Winter. Halia's youngest sister has the powers of Autumn. After Srivani 'died', Halia became her father's heir. She has worked hard at it and her name is known throughout the land, not only because of her position as the Heir to Summer. Halia grew apart from her mother in the years before she left, but she is still hurt by her leaving and wants nothing to do with her. Halia has dedicated her entire self to becoming her father's heir, even though it exhausts her.
A bluebird named Palila who follows Halia around everywhere.
