But his biggest motivation? Revenge on Marcus Jones, his creator.

Healing factor, can heal from anything short of major brain damage. Most injuries disappear in seconds, major ones can take a few minutes.

He has a bond to Jayden, and a promise to protect them no matter what. He's suffered so much, and believes no one (other than maybe Marcus) should have to suffer the way he has. He will protect the innocent with his life, unwilling to let people feel unnecessary pain. And while he kills, he will never torture anyone. No one deserves that.

Obnoxiously cocky. A loud and rude kind of cocky. He acts this way to mask how wounded and injured he really is. He acts like an asshole around people he doesn't know very well, but it's purely a defense mechanism. He's honestly very broken inside, and has depression. He could be described as a 'Bad Boy' - but not the stereotypical one who's rich and rides a motorcycle. He's very sweet if you get to know him and earn his trust, and if you're his friend- well, anyone who even thinks of hurting you better watch out for his blade. He's very thoughtful and soft when it comes to his friends, but when he's around strangers, that's when the cocky facade shows up. He doesn't want to risk getting hurt by anyone, and if he shows you his true colors, it means you matter a lot to him. Either that or you're about to die and he feels bad.

Cooking. He likes the domesticity of it. Also he likes good food and doesn't want to go eat at fancy restaurants, so he makes the food himself. Yes, he stress bakes.

Sword fighting, bomb making- mechanics, not chemistry-, hand to hand combat, guns, basically most things to do with combat.

He's also good at cooking.

He has good instincts, but doesn't listen to them.

Hates scientists. He was created in a lab, and experimented on. This is how and why he has his powers. He hates scientists because of all the tests. Said tests were in no way shape or form humane. Also hates being controlled, and dislikes authority figures.

He kills for because he wants vengeance, yes, but c'mon, he's killing people- he's got issues. (Actually the main reason he kills people is because he was literally created to kill and doesn't know how to do anything else.)

He holds grudges.

He's reckless.

He will never respect authority figures.

He swears a lot, but he tries to avoid it in front of people he cares about.

He does his best not to cry in front of people. He doesn't want anyone to ever see him at his lowest. But he will drop his guard around his closest friends.

He will push through unspeakable agony to get at what he wants. Once he's set a goal, he will stop at nothing to achieve it.

He never drops a grudge.

When he gets nervous, he likes to mess with his hair- running a hand through it, twirling it around his finger, etc.. Sometimes he doesn't even realize he's doing it.

Once he gets into a fighting headspace, he's a machine of pure destruction. Nothing that stands in his way leaves unscathed- and that's assuming they leave at all. He fights like a cornered animal- fiercely and recklessly, like he has nothing left to lose. His skill is unmatched, and when combined with his tactical abilities and healing factor, he's near unbeatable.

Atheist. No god seems to be looking out for him, so why should he worship one?

Anarchist. He believes the government is corrupt, so 'fuck the authority'.

Part-time mercenary.

Red. Especially crimson red. Blood looks very pretty, even if it's his own.

Pancakes. It was the first food he had after escaping captivity. And now he has an odd obsession with them.

The public has little knowledge of Zenith, but the people who do know of him (that do not know him well) generally have a rather negative opinion of him.

Zenith is a millionaire, earning lots of money from the mercenary jobs he takes.

Zenith lives with Crystal Webb and Katsumi Stone in a shady part of town that is generally frowned upon by the public.

He was never told when his spawn date was. No one ever figured it was important to tell him, seeing as they viewed him as less than human. If anybody asks, however, he'll tell them it's on September 13th.

He's been taught fighting skills, and how to build a bomb, but not things like math or geography.

Marcus Jones created him in The Lab .He was created in a lab to be the perfect soldier: An expandable, non-human weapon that can function like one. Zenith, who is very much a human, rebels and runs away.

He was tortured to find the extent of his healing. That means cutting, suffocating, hypothermia, heat exhaustion, hitting, basically every kind of pain you can think of. Because after all, they didn't see him as human. So why treat him like one?

However, there was one scientist who realized that 'Hey, he seems really human, isn't this kind of inhumane?' and tried to make things better for him, helping him to the best of their ability. They aided his escape, and Zenith never forgot about that kindness, and promised himself that he would protect those in need of protection.

He manages to escape the lab just before his 18th birthday, which is when he would be handed over to the military.

But living broke in a world that runs on money has its own challenges. Zenith begins his journey into the world homeless, without a dime in his pockets.

That's when he discovers the Black Market . A place perfect for his skill set, and a place where he can do jobs with no questions asked about who he is or where he came from.

So, Zenith makes some cash, finds a place to live (in a shady part of town where the landlord doesn't require identification), and starts a new life.

Until Marcus comes after him.

*Cue the Plot *

At the end of the final book, he's going to adopt a black cat and name it 'Theta', showing that he has developed enough to know that he's human.

(He is very nice to the cat and loves it very much).

Okay but seriously, he was created by Marcus Jones as the first artificially created life form, a human with no humanity to be easily sacrificed in dangerous situations. One problem with that- Zenith doesn't want to die. Now, Zenith grew up in a lab, and he was experimented on. They quickly discovered his healing factor, and realized its practical purposes. They took samples of his blood and used it to heal unhealable illnesses- it could cure anything that wasn't DNA related (such as cancer). They took as much blood as he could survive losing every week, barely giving him time to replenish it. They took this blood and shipped it off to the army to cure injured soldiers, or to rich people they wanted on their good side. (note: 'they' is the government- they funded Marcus's research and therefore own Zenith, considering him government property.) They also harvested his organs. Due to his advanced healing factor, Zenith could even survive losing his heart (as long as he was given time to heal). They used these organs for the same purposes as his blood, and Zenith's unwilling donations saved thousands of lives. But here's the catch- not only was he unwilling, he was also never given any anesthetic of any kind. The boy was tortured all of his life to find the limits of his healing factor as well, the scientists always being careful to stop just before he would die. Is it any wonder that he ran away?

Zenith escapes the lab at 17, and lives homeless for a while until he manages to wiggle his way into the black market, making an obnoxious amount of money per job.

His friends getting hurt or killed, especially if he thinks it's his fault.

If he believes someone deserves it, he will kill them without hesitation. If someone is innocent, he will protect them with his life. He rejects rules and order, and he follows his own morals above anything. He doesn't care about the consequences of his actions, he simply does what he believes is right. He isn't exactly a shining beacon of ethics, but he's not quite evil, either. He walks the line of good and bad, and he's well aware of this.

Depression, PTSD.

DEPRESSION: He self-harms, simply because he can heal and he has trauma and can't handle it. It's the only way he can cope. He gets so upset, so scared and panicked, and he hurts himself to get that rush of dopamine that is accompanied by the pain.

Usually this self harm is in the form of cutting lines on him arm with a dagger, but he also lets himself get injured in battle, and bites himself hard enough to bleed.

P.T.S.D: He has horrible nightmares and flashbacks, gets scared pretty easily when one of his triggers is involved. He's always looking out for danger, and has difficulty with emotions.

It is also related to his self-harm, because he's desperately trying to prove that he can take it, that he is good enough, because he can't break, he can't be traumatized, he can handle it.
