When Liri was angry, she tried channeling her anger into doing handiwork rather than shouting and ranting, a habit that her son would later pick up.
Liri was very quiet when she was sad but always tried to hide her sadness with witty remarks or by changing the subject.
Fear was a difficult emotion for her, because often fear was melded with sorrow, and she tried to think of something else much too often, as well as make jokes out of it, although her heart beat faster and her hands were tense.
When Liri was happy, her laugh lit up the world and she slapped her knee a lot, doubling over in glee, but Francis, unlike others, thought that this made her even more kindly and beautiful than she already was instead of making her seem undignified.
Right from the start, Liri always wanted to help people, be it Francis with his homework in school or patients at work.
Later on, however, he motivations shifted a little bit. The desire to help people remained, but she had a son, and she wanted him to be safe and happy almost as much as she wanted to help others.
She kept her feelings locked up from everyone, even her husband, and her son always remembers her as seeming to hide something, despite her wonderful, kind nature. She was never comfortable with letting her sad or fearful emotions show and that made her even weaker than if she had let them show.
Liri didn't like complainers--people who complained about their bosses, people who whined when she did their blood pressure, people who griped about their family and groaned about their friends.
She was an excellent student and very good at figuring out ways to help people.

Liri Kinion was born in New Oklahoma County and was the daughter of two Shudra farmers. When she was two years old, her little sister, Lina, was born. Their parents decided that for them to get a prime education, they would have to move elsewhere, and so when Liri was four, the family moved to New Kansas County, where she would go to school. She excelled in her studies and her parents did not regret moving a sliver. When she was in eighth grade, she met Francis Caradoc officially. They'd gone to school together for years, but that was the year that he started struggling in math. Liri, who was a year older, began tutoring him in seventh-grade math. He contined failing classes, so Liri asked to stay on another school year and go to school until she was twenty-one. Their friendship had blossomed into love, and only a few years out of school, they were married. In 33 NA, they were welcoming their son Aswinn to the world.
