Laughs and finds merriment in everything
She's dead now, but she was motivated by love for her daughter, her husband, and her country - in that order.
She was a village girl so she doesn't have the strongest education but she makes up for it in kindness and soft strength.
Cannot stand the unnecessarily cruel
Singing, wood carving and axe throwing.
She loves to sing and woodcarve
Shy, nervous, and clumsy around those she is in awe of. Usually a spitfire, free and stubborn to a fault. Laughs at herself easily. Did not need to be perfect, she found joy in everything
Erion first befriended her when they were children and he immediately became smitten.
She was the daughter of a carpenter, but when her father died in a foreign campaign, she became Eline's ladysmaid to help support her family. Erion, Eline, Jerlorn, and Solin all offered to pay for her family, but Eline insisted that she work for her pay. Jerlorn was particularly in awe of her work ethic. Jerlorn became more and more smitten with her and he tried to learn as much about her world as he could. He asked her to show him how to woodwork, and he made a little bird for her. They fell in love and he married her much to the chagrin of his family and all the nobles. That bird he made Marielle then became a gift for Natiselle (before she was even born). Marielle was clutching it when Erion stole her away.
The entire time she was separated from her husband she remained faithful.
Married 1053 APC
She didn't start proper school until she became Eline's ladiesmaid when she was eleven. But her father was a carpenter so she is good with woodwork.
