Spike is a young pug with apricot fur and a short, stocky build. He has a noticeable scar on his left hind leg. Sometimes he'll spring for spiked bands around his neck or legs; he likes the look but doesn't mind the implications, unlike many other members of the Brigade.

Spike has a quiet, easygoing personality, but he needs to feel like he's getting something done at all times. He gets bored easily and likes doing random favors for people, especially if it's something physical that calls for him to get up and put his strength to work. He tries not to let his restlessness show, though, preferring to focus on the positives. And if you aren't already a good friend of his, he finds it hard to care and might even ask for favors in return.

Super strength

Despite his power having pretty straightforward applications in combat, Spike isn't much of a fighter; he usually doesn't see the point of it. He probably wouldn't do well if forced, either.

Spike was a semi-recent addition to the Brigade, with only Speedy coming after. He enjoys putting his super strength to use gathering resources, building shelters, and running other various errands. He's been known to occasionally steal food from the nearby humans, though he keeps the habit a secret from the others.

"Some people'll get nervous that they're askin' too much of me and get all apologetic, but I don't mind, really. Just don't be a jerk about it and you're just fine in my book."

"Eh, I dunno, I'm pretty valuable but not compared to like, a king or somethin'. I try to keep it humble."

"Nothin', really."

"I don't mind. She's gotta do her job somehow."

"Depends. I don't mind workin' for someone, but I don't care for those high 'n' mighty types who sit on their backsides not doin' much useful themselves."
