She wears whatever is form fitting and approved by the Goddess, including her old officer uniform from Ma'luum. It hangs, unmarked and seldom used, in her closet.
The imprint of the numbers 1,247,985 were burned onto the back of her neck, marking her as a prisoner of Ma'luum.
Her PATTERN doesn't just take up her shoulder blades, but the entire top of her back and even the tops of her shoulders. It used to be smaller, but after being corrupted, it changed into something larger.
Reinare is a voluptuous woman that stands at 5'8", with black hair to the middle of her back and cold brown eyes that her smile never reaches.
She is an introverted thinker who likes to deal with things rationally and logically. Her intuition is top notch and has saved her ass on numerous occasions; it's almost never wrong but as long as it isn't sending off strident warning bells, she does not always listen to it as often as she should. As logical as she may be, there are moments were she will act on impulse or emotion alone and will be the first to admit that she was wrong.
Reinare is also a strong believer in the survival of the fittest; if a creature is naturally unable to survive on its own, then it should not live at all. She respects the strong and will quickly prey upon the weak if signs of weakness are present and/or prominent within an individual, friend or otherwise. This is said to be due to her enhanced predatory mindset.
It's difficult for her to open up to others and at times, can be difficult to display emotion of any kind. She has somewhat of a trust issue, mainly with individuals who are older rather than younger, and would like to think that she's been somewhat better about it.
One of the best ways of talking to her is to appeal to her interests. Music, creative writing, art, and reading are all things that she enjoys. Most of the texts she reads are fiction, historical literature, science fiction, and poetry. She also likes nature documentaries on all animals - including insects (she's one of the only women who aren't bugged by bugs) and spiders.
Over the past few years, she's become close to Lillian Bloodmare - who has influenced her cruelty and methods of torture. She's become something of a lab assistant to the elder mage.

- Reinare was an only child born to a religious family in Amsterdam. They were poor and couldn't afford a home away from the red light district that lay around the corner, as much as her father tried. Her father was a pastor for the Church, and his family was expected to be holy - something they were accused of not keeping "pure" as their daughter developed into a woman. Reinare was pretty. Too pretty, too curvy, to tempting to be the daughter of a pastor.
The people of the Church regularly called her a harlot, a whore, a slut - every name in the book - from when she turned sixteen to the time she was, as they called it, "demoned away". For among their group there had always been rumors; sometimes entire families would vanish without a trace and people went missing all the time. Christians in the area believed their neighbors were being demoned away, or carried away by demons.
- Her mother had always told her to ignore the hurtful words of others. For a time, it was difficult - being called such vulgar names and being blamed for lewd acts as well as the ending of relationships all throughout her school years. Despite her pleas to be taken out of public school, her parents never listened. They turned a blind eye towards the abuse. Eventually, she learned to live with it. She never had many friends growing up. And after she graduated high school, it hardly mattered. Unlike other parents, who encouraged their kids to go to college, Reinare's parents immediately arranged a marriage for her. As soon as a suitable rich man was found, Reinare was expected to be an obedient wife and was groomed to be so. She hated it. She hated him. She didn't want to be married or forced to bear children. It wasn't a life she wanted. But she didn't have a choice. The direction that her life would take had already been chosen for her, before she was born.
Against her will, she was married at 24 to an esper that couldn't understand her resentment. She was expected to be a proper, stay at home wife, preparing for children. She denied him of sensual pleasures for as long as she could. Accused of not 'being a good wife', he eventually took her by force, as if he had a right to do so. Although she had been taught that her husband had the right to her body, she believed otherwise with all of her might. Yet she couldn't fight him off. And so, in silent defiance, she did what she thought she needed to do - multiple trips to planned parenthood over the years, in another city so as not to be recognized. It worked. It always worked. Denying her husband of the chance to be a father was the only real decision she'd made, and she was happy with it. It tore him apart. Confused him. Made him angry. Made him a drunk. A violent drunk. Her husband claimed to love her, yet he never supported her, punished her for asking too many questions or not being subservient enough. All it ever did was make her angry. But she was powerless to do anything.
Gnolls broke into their home after she'd turned 32. Large furred hands pulled her from her bed at night, slapping metal braces over her wrists. Whatever they were sapped her strength. Make her unable to use her Sky Magic. She fought and fought, but the beast did not relent. it carried her to a wagon. The braces stuck together like magnets. Her husband was tossed into the wagon with her, knocked unconscious.
Reinare was part of a new wave of people that were forced into Akasha's camp. She was branded as a religious prisoner. Her husband was branded as a political one. In the camp, she met a little mage girl named Vilette Kirishiki and three fox shifters - a red head named Nipuni and a blonde named Hazama. The last fox shifter was an older woman that made Reinare... Uncomfortable. Her name was Akari, and she was a bit too possessive of the 13 year old mage. Vilette was also a religious prisoner. The three shifters were labeled as criminals. The four of them became fast friends, a group united in the worst camp to be in. Talk of a group called the 'Gnoll Killers' was everywhere. Her husband attempted to be friends with them.
In the first game that Officer Akasha held in her camp for the prisoners, Reinare's husband was a casualty. Finally... She was free of him. It was probably the look in her eyes that drew Akasha to her.
Akasha appeared not as a tormentor but as a friend. Reinare had never met anyone like her. She was the second aether to be corrupted by Akasha. Vilette the mage followed suit, easily manipulated. The girl even started to call the officer 'Aka-mama', and Akasha treated her like the kid she'd never gotten to be. Reinare's group had been easily swayed. Their choice was to be kapos or to die. Within four days of this treatment, Reinare and Vilette became kapo. And when Akasha begun to pair up the aether and mages with shifters and werebeasts, Reinare chose Nipuni and Hazama as her partners in crime. For Vilette, it was Akari. Life as a Kapo was... Difficult, at first.
Akasha gave them a quota. They had to kill a certain amount of people and beat others. And instead of her, Akasha put them all in charge of the punishments in the evening. Murder and violence got easier and easier. For the first time in her life, Reinare felt powerful - like she could do anything.
-They were introduced to Sophia, Akasha's favorite in the camp, and became close friends with her. Sophia was their in to the gnoll killer group, but Cibella and the Cefalu twins denied them access to their groups resources.
Soon after, Reinare was the first of AKasha's chosen to be promoted to an Officer. Reinare became her right hand for internal affairs, after the vampire Robin left with her master. Reinare took roll call and assigned that day's jobs (until Akasha chimed in). She was allowed to do what she wanted to whoever she wanted. Before she knew it, Akasha had molded her - molded all of them - into monsters.
AKasha created the Reine religion, naming Reinare as her High Priestess and the vampire Rose as her bookkeeper. The reine began to form. Before this time, Reinare wins a game by killing gnoll killer members Thulsa and Kalseik, and frees Hazama from Ma'luum.
Aerallis and Ilosti Tithiros of the gnoll killer group however... Were in a league all of their own. They were bigger monsters are being visited for three days by Lillian Bloodmare. That is a time that Reinare doesn't... Like to remember. It happened so fast. First, Firia of the gnoll killers had died. But somehow she wasn't dead, disguised herself as an officer. Firia was working with Drucilla Morgan and Officer Lathander to get the gnoll killer group out of Ma'luum. She shot Akasha in the head and framed Reinare for the act. While Luvia and others were busy tending to Akasha, the Tithiros sisters escaped along with half of their group. Lillian Bloodmare caught them, and took out a group to reclaim the rest. All but the Tithiros sisters were brought back. They were safe in the public eye, where the cult couldn't touch them again. That happened in 2007.
- Life continued until it no longer could. The FBI had infiltrated the camp. Luvia and Akasha, along with the higher ups of the cult, evacuated. SHadow Knights, Luvia and Lillian included, destroyed the camps. Reinare has since been with Akasha and the reine as a whole. in the years to follow, she became close with Lillian to the point of being the woman's lab assistant - a position that Aerallis and Tithiros used to have.
In 2016, she was allowed to venture out into the world to do her own thing. Convert more people. Akasha sent her to work with a criminal gang of werebeasts lead by a werewolf named Reid.
She helped Reid and his crew to destroy a group called the Ravagers, who hadn't fully delivered on their end of a bargain. Isaac Thomas was allowed to go free. Sam Skiles, Reid chose to keep alive. The rest were killed. But Reinare, looming over the corpse of a former mage named Sandra, used her shard of chaos to reanimate Sandra into a ghoul.
Reid turned Sam into a werewolf. Reinare contained him. Tortured him. Experimented on him. Turning him into a monster and using the newly turned ghoul Sandra as bait to keep Sam obedient and unable to run away. If he did something wrong, Sandra would be starved. It only took him one time of seeing her become a zombie to behave himself.
Reinare took Sandra and Sam with her and her little group - which included Nipuni and a tiger shifter named Baihu - around the world to look for Hazama. Reinare has yet to find her, but for now, it's time to return to their new home. Snow Haven.
Her group, including a few new converts for the Reine, took a plane with Lillian and Luvia Bloodmare to the small town of Snow Haven where Akasha and another priestess Aheli had set up.
Although she may have had a family before being captured and thrown in Ma'luum, she has either forgotten all about them or didn't have a home to return to. Her only family now are the Reine, and the holy family of the Goddess. Lillian Bloodmare has been her lover on more than one occasion. However, she's currently engaged to Sandra Enyar.

Shard of Chaos - When she and Lillian became close, the mage created a magical item that she called the shard of chaos. It is a similar, but smaller, item in the same vein as Luvia's Amulet of Chaos. Like Luvia's amulet, the Shard of Chaos is only limited by the creativity and imagination of its user. And through it, Lillian taught her how to create ghouls.
